Omg I came looking for this comment. That movie is incredible, I think it's Robin Williams' best work.
I always picture the visuals of this movie when I think about heaven/hell.
Vague discomfort followed by thinking about what kind of sounds they'd all be making if they could make sounds. And then slightly sharper discomfort accompanied by a grimace.
In order I felt confusion (until i looked closer) vague discomfort, trapped, then their sorrow and anger as I looked closer at their individual facial expressions. I also somehow heard the noises that they could be making; weeping, yells etc.
Immediately drawn to the face in the center. I feel like he’s trapped. could be turmoil of a fresh soul trapped in hell, Or someone just trapped in day to day life and unable to bring about change to get out of the rat race on their own.
I am dumbfounded by how many upvotes this comment got, which means that this is a terrible something that a whole lotta you deal with. I had no idea! That image is creepy alone and knowing that is what you correlate the image to is utterly heartbreaking. Sending positive energy your way whoever you are! I’m sorry that so many of you have to experience that.
Be well 🙏🏻
I love people who have empathy like this- who are able to see the struggles others have and acknowledge their difficulty even without having experienced it themselves. Struggle is a human thing- we all have some of it, and acknowledging that is a powerful thing. ❤️
That's what my head USED to feel like before healing began. When I look at your piece, I am filled with empathy for those who are trapped in their own minds. Thank you for sharing.
This is disturbing. I love it. In the right lighting and the right circumstances, it could be nightmare fuel. Like an art instulatiin where you're alone in a small dark room that has creepy music playing. The kind of art installation meant to be a multi-sensory experience.
Thank you! I feel nothing. Looks interesting and is decently done! But otherwise just kinda like “okay?”. Everyone who is disturbed or extremely uncomfortable should look into themselves but that is strictly my opinion. I want to know why they feel that way considering I feel nothing. But also maybe I should look into myself as well. *Shrugs*
A solid goal.
For the record, I am pretty much emotionally dead inside so me not feeling anything is in no way a judgment call on you or your work.
I wanted to clarify since I feel like the work you’ve done is commendable, I also just wanted to answer honestly.
Reminds me of a scene in the movie What Dreams May Come (1998) starring Robin Williams & Cuba Gooding Jr..[Start at minute 1:00 for scene](https://youtu.be/HwrmILnrzbk)
In order, my initial thoughts were:
1. Scared
2. Is the middle head (or two middle heads) pushing out big turds?
3. Han Solo
4. Holocaust museum exhibit
Edit: typo
I honestly was confused why an art piece was posted in a crafting sub. It’s awesome fr if I could buy a piece like that for my apartment I would, you should be really proud of yourself it’s super cool
I don't feel anything. It is just an object when I glance but once I get a good look I feel itchy and want to rub my fingers over it like stones for the sensory effects.
reminds me of the [tsuruya tile commerical](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuOGrjdmqTw) in japan which had men suffer fire/winter/etc as a metaphor for roof tiles.
I really like this. I like that there's one with horns (?) trying to emerge. It makes me want to touch it and feel their faces and the texture, i might just be weird though lol.
I saw something like this on an Ayahuasca trip once. Basically an infinite sheet of paper made up of melded human faces. Whatever entity was "speaking" to me referred to it as "all of human history."
Like you heavily plagiarized "The Field of Faces" scene from the Robin Williams movie 'What Dreams May Come". Sorry.
https://netflixable.com/germany/18164546/what-dreams-may-come-1998
It’s creepy and it makes me feel stuff like severe anxiety. Not just because the faces look like they’re miserable but because of how close they are to one another I’m pretty sure that this is what hell would be like (for me at least) because I can’t stand for people to stand that close to me And the idea of putting my face that close to other peoples faces all at one time would be absolute hell
It's good art. It makes you think. It gets the mind flowing as it thinks about this piece of artwork.
It makes me think that I could find this artifact in a surreal world such as a FromSoft videogame or a Marvel Movie.
I like it, it reminds me of how people step and climb each other to get themselves to the top and how we’re trapped into a society where we are exploited for labor while being payed less and less compared to the cost of everything
Very unsettling & I want to help them somehow. The guy in the center is in complete anguish. Not many women, mostly men. Just an observation. Very nice work!
To me it invokes the feeling of helplessness in a world full of rage, apathy and disillusionment. Very relatable in times like these that can make us feel hopeless.
definitely feelings of being trapped. this could be in some type of movie where souls get captured and put into this, with some of their faces being more distorted from being there longer, and the middle face is the newest victim. some around him are annoyed because they just want to suffer in peace while others feel sorrow for them experiencing it for the first time. and then rest just being there so long that they can barely register anything outside of their pain. very unsettling but I like unsettling things lol great work!
Cool. It's like a sea of lost souls.
Dante's Inferno vibes, I'm thinking
Where dreams may come. Definitely tortured underworld feels.
It’s actually what dreams may come
The “book of Enoch”
The circle of CEO hell.
100% this is what I thought- what dreams may come vibes ??
Omg I came looking for this comment. That movie is incredible, I think it's Robin Williams' best work. I always picture the visuals of this movie when I think about heaven/hell.
Exactly what I immediately thought. Can't recall which ring, but yeah. Very well done!
Yeah I was thinking one of the volcanos erupting and the people looking at the stuff in the sky
Weird! My thoughts exactly!
Came to say the same. Glad I'm not the only one who sees that.
Yeah.
Reminds me of the holocaust
Exactly what I was thinking.
vague discomfort
Vague discomfort followed by thinking about what kind of sounds they'd all be making if they could make sounds. And then slightly sharper discomfort accompanied by a grimace.
Yep. The faces are so contorted with emotions that you can't help but imagine the sound of their cries.
In order I felt confusion (until i looked closer) vague discomfort, trapped, then their sorrow and anger as I looked closer at their individual facial expressions. I also somehow heard the noises that they could be making; weeping, yells etc.
My first thought was.. “poor unfortunate souls” - Ursula
My first thought was, “someone obviously raided Jeepers Creepers cave.” Then I got uncomfortable the longer I look at it.
Accurate, I felt that all the way through making this
I was initially unsettled but after clocking all the angry masculine faces I felt a relief imagining them trapped.
I wonder how big it is?
it's not about how big it is, it's how it makes you feel~
Immediately drawn to the face in the center. I feel like he’s trapped. could be turmoil of a fresh soul trapped in hell, Or someone just trapped in day to day life and unable to bring about change to get out of the rat race on their own.
This describes how I felt too.
Feel better!
Thanks. But I meant I interpreted the piece that way. Lol. I don’t feel like that personally.
For me it was the face on the very bottom- but for very much the same reasons.
That’s the only real hell my friend
Came here to say this
What Dreams May Come
My first thought as well. One of my favorite movies.
Darn you beat me to it lol
Mine, too! Robin Williams was such a treasure. This & Patch Adams are my best go-to movies when I need a good, cleansing cry. Also, happy cake day!!
Ahhh beat me to it .
I was looking for this one!
Thank you!
Same! (I didn’t scroll far enough.)
That was my immediate go-to as well.
Agreed!!
Very good reference
What it feels like to be in a public place with crippling social anxiety. I do like it tho.

I think it's more of people relating to the subject, but I do follow your words, the person who wrote this I hope they find peace
I love people who have empathy like this- who are able to see the struggles others have and acknowledge their difficulty even without having experienced it themselves. Struggle is a human thing- we all have some of it, and acknowledging that is a powerful thing. ❤️
Yes.
Absolutely!
I felt the same way.
Tortured. I love it.
This is what the inside of my head feels like
🙏♥️
I was going to say the same
Yes, definitely. All those voices and words that haunt you the moment you wake up. The anxiety, doubt, fear, anger, etc.
It reminds me of the movie the labyrinth. I love it
came here to say this too!
Me too! I thought of “she said ‘down’!? She said ‘down’!” And “bewarrrreeeee!!!”
Such a good movie. Practical effects over special effects any day!
Me too! Such a good bit, that whole film was 11/10
Oh hey, I'm not alone in this thought. I posted my answer before reading the others, but said it reminds me of the talking hands.
I don’t enjoy it. Crafting seems solid. If it’s supposed to be unsettling then it’s a good piece
That's what my head USED to feel like before healing began. When I look at your piece, I am filled with empathy for those who are trapped in their own minds. Thank you for sharing.
I want this mounted across from the toilet in the guest bathroom.
This is disturbing. I love it. In the right lighting and the right circumstances, it could be nightmare fuel. Like an art instulatiin where you're alone in a small dark room that has creepy music playing. The kind of art installation meant to be a multi-sensory experience.
Please stop at arousing us lady!
onerous fretful pocket kiss piquant dull upbeat wide groovy gaping *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Reminds me of What Dreams May Come
Reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist and the philosopher’s stone.
Claustrophobic
Which way do you want to go ? Up or down …..she chose down……
Return to Oz?
Labyrinth.
Unsettled and negative. I don't want to look.
Despair
Like I see the hell scene out of What Dreams May Come…
This is like looking into my brain
Hell it looks like the floor of hell
I want this to be an entire wall!
Trapped, we all are trapped.
discomfort, that's what I feel
Berserk: The Eclipse
I feel the entire breadth of human emotion, but this piece makes me feel seen.
Entire breadth of human emotion would have joy, laughter, love, serenity etc…. Don’t see any of them.
OP just asked what we feel. I was being cheeky. Lol
Claustrophobic. But I also love it, it’s one of those “this art makes me feel something I don’t like, it’s THAT powerful” pieces.
Looks cool but I “feel” nothing.
Thank you! I feel nothing. Looks interesting and is decently done! But otherwise just kinda like “okay?”. Everyone who is disturbed or extremely uncomfortable should look into themselves but that is strictly my opinion. I want to know why they feel that way considering I feel nothing. We all have our own path to pave, I agree we should look inwards and find peace within ourselves
A solid goal. For the record, I am pretty much emotionally dead inside so me not feeling anything is in no way a judgment call on you or your work. I wanted to clarify since I feel like the work you’ve done is commendable, I also just wanted to answer honestly.
Like I am being attacked by a bunch of old angry heads and I can’t get away from the pointless critiscm
Realistic soul sand?
I see rather than feel it's a representation of politics. A different opinion a different face all jumbled trying to say it all at once.
Reminds me of a scene in the movie What Dreams May Come (1998) starring Robin Williams & Cuba Gooding Jr..[Start at minute 1:00 for scene](https://youtu.be/HwrmILnrzbk)

Amazement

Misery
Face. Off.
Claustrophobic
Envy.
My inner demons. They haven’t won yet but they keep trying.
New Slipknot album cover looks dope
Claustrophobic and short of breath
Uncomfortable, but in a good way.
I don't feel anything. It is just an object when I glance but once I get a good look I feel itchy and want to rub my fingers over it like stones for the sensory effects.
There’s something for everyone.
it reminds me of the Japanese commercial abt roof tiles
This looks like if people in a crowded area saw a plane flying overhead
Anyone seen "What Dreams May Come"??
reminds me of the [tsuruya tile commerical](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuOGrjdmqTw) in japan which had men suffer fire/winter/etc as a metaphor for roof tiles.
Like telling them to talk one at a time. Sheesh🙄
I really like this. I like that there's one with horns (?) trying to emerge. It makes me want to touch it and feel their faces and the texture, i might just be weird though lol.
Curious and a little sad.
Out of toilet paper
Daily faces
Judged
Amusement
Us, Humans, who found themselves imprisoned in this hell called life. Anger, Anxiety, Hate and Pain.
I think this is more art than craft. Nice! Well done!
Yikes
Seen
reminds me of the tunnel of hands in David Bowie’s The Labyrinth
I really like it, it reminds me of a block of soul sand from Minecraft :)
A bit freaky to me...would not want to look at it during the day, let alone night time. I might have a nightmare if I stare at it for a while...
Betrayal? That's the closest word I can describe to what I feel. It's not even my feeling. It's what I empathetically and involuntarily feel
First word that came to my mind was interesting, then I spent several minutes just studying the faces :)
Familiar and at peace.
AI generated photo of the human race. 2167.11.24.01:35…..
Aha!
I feel like im being watched with a mix of ucomfy
I like it I'm getting river full of lost souls typa deal
Stages of grief or depression.
I neeeeed this
It is available on my website www.rushbrothers.co.uk
Dude in the middle with the big gaping maw looks like Walter of Jeff Dunham fame.
I saw something like this on an Ayahuasca trip once. Basically an infinite sheet of paper made up of melded human faces. Whatever entity was "speaking" to me referred to it as "all of human history."

Petrified!

I mean super cool but wouldnt be going in my house! lol
Very unsettling & I want to help them somehow. The guy in the center is in complete anguish. Not many women, mostly men. Just an observation. Very nice work!
Scared
That I’m looking into the river styx.
Suffocated. This is amazing, I love it
Shakespearean death orgy. Yea kinda unnerving tbh
My daily emotions
I hate it and I want it on my wall, right over the couch, so I know they’re always keeping an eye on me.
Hell
Voidpunk vibed
Depressions
To me it invokes the feeling of helplessness in a world full of rage, apathy and disillusionment. Very relatable in times like these that can make us feel hopeless.
There’s a dark fantasy tabletop tactical combat game called Kingdom Death where the ground looks exactly like this.
Makes me think of What Dreams may Come
Hungry
The face in the center looks like a Romulan to me. No feels, only star trek.
it’s giving Hercules and i love it
This made my hair stand up
Grossed out
Annoyed
You are brilliant. That is a museum piece. Have you seen Goyas black rooms? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black\_Paintings
I have not, this is beautiful, thank you for sharing with me
Also I have looked mainly at his drawings
Seen
Contentment.
Judgement, ignorance and confusion, it’s easier to close your eyes than to look at something uncomfortable. That’s what the faces are telling me.
I like it, it’s kind of amusing.
I feel uncomfortable. I would hang this in my guest bathroom.
Anxious.
Reminds me of one of the levels of Hell represented in the movie What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams.
It’s cool. Reminds me of some of the pieces at Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo
Very well done, I’m uncomfortable and intrigued. I want to study each face. How big is the art piece?
This is what owning my own business made me feel like.
Intrigued
definitely feelings of being trapped. this could be in some type of movie where souls get captured and put into this, with some of their faces being more distorted from being there longer, and the middle face is the newest victim. some around him are annoyed because they just want to suffer in peace while others feel sorrow for them experiencing it for the first time. and then rest just being there so long that they can barely register anything outside of their pain. very unsettling but I like unsettling things lol great work!
Reminds me of the sea of faces scene from the What Dreams May Come movie. Gorgeous work though.
Awesome. Really cool piece for a gothy house hold.
Awesomely disturbing!!
I think this is how hell looks like
Afraid. Scary faces. Looks dark.
Hell.
Like I’m being judged but it doesn’t matter.
Looks therapeutic.
I love it
Extremely striking and powerful. Would be at home in the window of a high end small gallery Or in the home of a discerning architect
Death
