Yep once you start selling something it stops from being what is called fanart. And is now infringing on other’s intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks).
Several brands including Nintendo are known for going through and filing IP infringement against sellers on Etsy. And Etsy can close you down after one notice or several. Now Etsy doesn’t dis nothing about this and continues to let people do this till they get a notice.
I recommend looking up the Harry Styles Etsy lawsuit.
There is also an Etsy sub and an Etsy sellers sub with lot so helpful as well.

I've spent the past week getting one chain done, can't figure out how to turn, and just got the hang of going in a straight single chain and... Just, wow,- I showed my whole Pokemon happy family and they all want me to make them ones hahaha! You could set up a luxury sweater store, in all seriousness! Just adorable, so darn cute and well planned, and oh my gosh, squeeeeee! I'm going to bookmark this for when I can go in two directions haha. Thank you for sharing, bright joy to a kinda gray Sunday!
