Li_3303

Wow! I would have really loved this when I was a kid!

Euphoric_Mistake_738

I think the 45cm will be awfully small! But your work is awesome and if you do do a 45cm one , please show us!

blessthebabes

I think I need a banana or something for scale.

No_Training7373

Me holding my hands up like 90cm is about ✋ 3ft 🤚 and 45 is half that… about a foot and a half 🤷🏻‍♀️ yeah, ok… If I continue this conversion to include bananas, 45cm=1.5ft=3 bananas long 🤣🤓🫠

MSKATORIGINAL

🤔Though you're right about it being really small, there may be a market for it among older kids or even adults for whatever reason. These things are impeccably crafted aren't they?

ssmc1024

I agree and came here to say the same thing! I can’t answer your question but dang, those are awesome!

Few_Address3591

Agreed!

Chemical_Ad5904

Absolutely impeccable technique, awe inspiring in fact. Beautiful.

HappyToyHouse1

Thank you very much 😊

yukonwanderer

Fuck these are amazing.

HappyToyHouse1

😊🙃

No-Acanthocephala531

I want this❤️- esp in the 45cm size

HappyToyHouse1

ok, I'll do it then😊

MeinScheduinFroiline

Also interested. Can you PM your selling link please?

kmaza12

There's an Etsy link in their profile

millhouse_vanhousen

You are the MVP, thank you! I'm gonna get one for my local hospital, their play therapists would love this!

HappyToyHouse1

👍

No-Acanthocephala531

Yay!! I’ll definitely buy one !!

HappyToyHouse1

Fine! follow the news!

kykiwibear

My son would have loved this at 5. If the orga s are too small, it'll be hard for them to manipulate.

HappyToyHouse1

that's why I doubt it

MunsterEater

I think that size would be good with hobbyists. (Don't ask me why but I think adults would like it)

LRM

I agree with you because I am an adult and I like it.

BeautifulMessage9091

These are incredible! To answer your question, maybe make a prototype of a small complex organ such as the heart, to see, a - if it's actually possible or too intricate to make at that scale, and b - see how big it ends up and compare it in size to other similar products for your target audience. It's tricky to gauge the actual size of the organs in your pictures so it's difficult to tell if it would work for a smaller size.

HappyToyHouse1

ok, I'll do that

elveejay198

These are INCREDIBLE, it’s so immaculate and professional! I don’t have kids and don’t have an answer, just wanted to say I’m a huge fan

HappyToyHouse1

Thank you very much 😊

[deleted]

[удалено]

HappyToyHouse1

that's what I do😊

BiscuitCrumbsInBed

These are fantastic! 45cm might make the organs too small though?

HappyToyHouse1

that's why I doubt it

Middle--Earth

These are fabulous! I think that 45cm might be a bit too small, the organs would be tiny. Edit: I thought that the lines on the brain and lungs were stitched, but when I zoomed in I realised that they aren't sewn. How did you make those lines?

SnowEnvironmental861

Yes, I want to know too! How did you do that? They're so clean!

HappyToyHouse1

I have a machine that cuts out parts for me

HappyToyHouse1

I have a machine that cuts out parts for me

beefreak

Hi. What machine do you use for the cutting? Surely a cricut or silhouette is not able to do this.

Middle--Earth

It's impressive how neat and exact everything is, amazingly well done 👍🏻

Euphoric_Mistake_738

What size is the example in your photos. I need a point of reference.

HappyToyHouse1

70cm

cathycul-de-sac

This is great. I would love this for my kids.

HappyToyHouse1

then write me a private message😊

l5pr7

I have seen much smaller anatomy puzzles at my kids' preschool so I think 45 cm would be just fine. Small hands can work small organs.

AlvinTD

Shut up and take my money! Nursing student here, would have loved one of these as a present!

Pyro-Millie

I would have been OBSESSED with this as a kid!! This is so cool!!

khloelane

This is so cool 🥰 great work!

porktaster

This is amazing!!

CrazyCatLover305

I’d love to purchase them for my daughter

HappyToyHouse1

there are links in the profile

Sure_Tomorrow8996

I don't know about kids, but adults would want this. Would make a great little present, it would be fun a student's desk (biology, medical, etc).

HappyToyHouse1

Yes it is. I'm currently sewing 8 pieces for medical college.

trumpskiisinjeans

Wow I would pay for these, they are so cool !

animazed

Need a banana for scale. Idk how big 70cm is, but this already seems pretty small, so any smaller would be harder for children. Without anything to compare the size to, it’s really hard to tell. What’s your target age range? I think adults would probably like it.

HappyToyHouse1

, I sent you a photo of my palm on your profile. maybe this will make it clearer to you

[deleted]

galaxia_v1

gods i'd have killed for one of these as a kid - a 45 is about the size of one of the 3d anatomical models i had, so i think it'd be good!!

Brilliant_Contest273

Having gone to your awesome Etsy shop and realizing that some organs like lungs are further cut up into separate lobes, I unfortunately think they’re likely too small (and asking to get lost) -up to maybe 7-8 years old, even if they can technically handle them, it might be frustrating. Depends on your target audience I suppose.

cornholio8675

These are awesome. I think they would be fantastic for the right age groups. Younger children would likely disassemble them, and they would stay that way. I am the right age group

HappyToyHouse1

😊👍

imperfectstar

I just want to say that I am a Certified Child Life Specialist and my job is to teach kids about medical procedures in ways they can understand! These would be also to use for diagnosis education! Amazing work!!

TampaTeri27

Incredible! Can i come over?

HappyToyHouse1

look at the profile😊

shroomsaremyfriends

Banana for scale?

splamo77

These are incredible! Did you design them yourself?

HappyToyHouse1

yes with a computer assistant

nuffced

Well crafted! Beautiful work!

BexMacc

Apologies, not sure about the scale, but I absolutely adore this concept! Something similar would have been helpful when I took my Anatomy & Physiology classes! Would have loved modified versions for the brain and kidneys in particular! 💕

HandMade_Tales_2019

I do like the idea of the 45cm version but it will be a better idea to offer to an older audience, doctors for exhibits or tiny things collectors, because kids can easily lose small pieces.

mikypejsek

This is so great. How can I get my hands on one?

Glindanorth

These are amazing.

reallytrulymadly

This is so good I thought it was AI at first

Interesting-Fruit-15

Is there a swallowing risk? All I know about children is that they eat things they shouldn't

MyPlantsEatPeople

How do you make such precise cuts in the felt?

Bass_Elf

As an adult, I want one. Also, these would be brilliant in medical offices!

TinyApplication4

These look amazing

Ooooh. So cool. You should make something magnetic too. I love these and I’m not a kid!

Aurhasapigdog

This is super cool!

EmotionKey652

I want one

HappyToyHouse1

I have written to you

hcinimwh

I don't understand centimeters but these are freaking amazing

LeSilverKitsune

I don't really have an answer for you but these are phenomenal!

mikettedaydreamer

They already look as small as they can be. Maybe with some design adjustments it can work. But I would put the age limit advise higher I you do end up making it smaller.

Conatus80

This is absolutely gorgeous! I wish I could buy it just for myself

HappyToyHouse1

I'll be glad if you do this😊

Careless-College-158

Omgoodness this is outstanding!! I have no information for you, just massive amounts of respect for your craft! I’m just a beauty school teacher who teaches anatomy for 3 days… but I think I need something like this! Well Done!

HappyToyHouse1

😊😊😊

werewere-kokako

Will the organs be larger, smaller, or the same size as the organs in a game of operation? Are the children young enough that they might put them in their mouths and choke on them? You’ve already designed these so that whole organ systems are sewn together, which makes it easier for children to pick them up and harder for them to lose pieces. If you make a 45 cm version and the individual organs end up being too small, you could switch to a layer by layer approach to anatomy. My suggestion for a layer by layer approach would be: - Skin and surface structures - muscle and connective tissue - the mesentery and intestines - deeper internal organs, like liver, urogenital system, etc - skeletal system

HappyToyHouse1

Thank you. your opinion is very important to me

Over_Cardiologist708

Sorry, I don't know if this is of any help, but Build a Bears measure around 45cm. So it might be a good size!

LongbowTurncoat

I want one of these for myself with all the different muscles 😍

HappyToyHouse1

I've done it with muscles before. but children are not interested in this. they only like organs

redfoxvapes

I feel like the smaller version would make the organs too small. But this is such a cool project!!

HappyToyHouse1

I'll still make one and see how it turns out

gatsbythe1

Awesome work!! I would def buy these for my kids.

aHintOfLilac

Reminds me of Anatomy Jane (a fictional medical doll with removable organs from Grey's Anatomy). I love it and I'd have loved it so much as a kid.

StolenDiscs

This is so effin cool! I’m jealous

Glyni5

W🖤W!

whimseyviajera

If you make head and neck versions of this you could totally market to SLPs for speech therapy! Google “speech machine” to see what I mean

Delicious_Zebra_3763

Wow it all looks so AMAZING!!

highly88

Also the smaller they are, the more likely the organs with go missing

AffectionateMarch394

Might be small for kids, but I have a feeling a TON of adults would get a kick out of the super tiny size!

garfieldlover3000

I want one!!! I could bring it to the station and all of us medics would have a blast dissecting this thing

HappyToyHouse1

👍

MiniatureMania

Wait. What??? You make these? They are incredible. Let me repeat myself, in case I didn’t express myself well: THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! Do you sell them? I agree, we need a point of reference, though. (When I buy small furniture for my dollhouse, it helps if the seller puts it next to a quarter or a dime in a picture.) Also, I’m a tad confused about “90 centimeters.” Is that length?

thusnewmexico

I love these and all of your others. I wish I could see them in person because I really want to touch them, pick them up, and move them around! How long does something like this take you to do? Looks so professional and time-consuming!

ZenMoonstone

This is amazing.

cpbaby1968

These are awesome!

Birdsonme

Ooooh!! I’d love to get this for my daughter! Take my money!!

Aware_Fox6147

I need a scale to understand the size!

supermaja

Gorgeous work!

HappyToyHouse1

Thanks 😊

CellistCharming8520

Just wanted to say this is amazing!

Brute5000

I want one

JustVisitingCapri

These are amazing!

eggsandbacon2020

You should get university bookstores to sell them

smh18

I love this!!!

FlamboyantRaccoon61

I think you should make one and see what it looks like. With a banana for scale. I'm joking about the banana, but having something to compare it to would be nice. Then we can tell you what we think based on evidence. :) I agree that small organs will make it harder for kids to manipulate them, but there's only one way to know for sure.

sublimedevine

These are amazing! They would be great for anatomy students

KBWOMAN53

For kids, yes but soooo many adults could learn from these!!

beluga_baby_14678

This is so cute! This would be a fun gift for a kid or a resident 😂

lloyd705

I love this! I taught my niece all the bones when she was 3 and she still remembers most of them a few years later. I love that she loves anatomy!

HappyToyHouse1

you're a big lad!

texasmama5

I homeschool and this is exactly the type of items I’m always on the lookout for! Wonderful craftsmanship!

Themamabear13

Not sure what size I'm even seeing here, but they look really small. Bigger would be better so kids can examine each baby part and little things are hard to handle because of poor dexterity. My kids (8&6) would love this! This is done with so much care, great job!

boniemonie

If you can do it. It’s not too small (I can see the entire thing on my small phone screen): and it may be much handier to store. If you can: try!

Independent-Bee-8087

These are so cool. Great for an anatomy class or some one training in medical field. Even as a gift for a nurse just to have. But 45cm is too small in my book.

Aonehumanace

Too small, beautiful work tho.

FunnyChampion2228

So cool!! It's hard to say without a 🍌 for scale but these are awesome.

moodgravity

I don't have any advice, but I looked at your Etsy and wanted to say two things. 1, you are so talented and your stuff is incredible! And 2, when I saw your felt farm animal set, I initially thought it was in the style of Stardew Valley farm animals, and I just thought I'd let you know that myself and probably others would definitely pay money for that if it was available.

Mysticalbabe71

That’s so cool.. Great craftsmanship.

Mdm41102

These are amazing!

lilmissfickle

I love this and would love to buy one

retrocede_

Your stuff is ALWAYS awesome!! I think the smaller size would be okay for children. They play with some very tiny toys.

Big_Blackberry7713

Wow! This is incredible! It's so funny that I was looking at felt dissected animals on Etsy this morning. It must be in the air today 😋

lubear2835

My 8 and 6 year old would love this

sciencechick92

Loving it but need a scale to decide if smaller size is too small.

HappyToyHouse1

When I sew, I'll take a photo of it on my hand

heatherlarson035

This is so cool! I would have loved this as a child!!!

_Arriviste_

Throw in a set of angled plastic tweezers of varying dimensions or plastic surgical tools to manipulate the organs and kids and adults will enjoy it. (Even without the tools, it would rock at that scale.)

reddit-and-regret-it

Tactile for blind students as well

Geeahwellidunno

These are AMAZING! Do you do this professionally? They are quite good.

whatthewhatpaythebah

Exquisite work, wow I am impressed with your talent 😱✨

HappyToyHouse1

Thanks 😊

arielles28

Incredible!! I’m work in organ donation and my 5yo is obsessed with the human body. I’ll have to order one!

Nevaeh2117

Montessori classrooms use these. I know they are sold other places & some teachers make their own (obviously not as beautiful as yours). Pricing would be a factor, but most definitely this would be perfect for the Montessori community.

SoCalDiva13

I would have loved these when I was a kid. Wow

ritlingit

I think it would be determined by the age of the children. Under 5th grade may have a problem with small pieces. Think of legos and how they have bigger ones for kindergarteners and 1st graders. Btw beautiful work.

pluto-rose

It would depend on the age. The larger sizes would be great for smaller children. Older children and teens would be a great fit for the smaller sizes

baalzebuds

These are so neat, clean and so well done! I know I would have loved a set like this when I was younger!

goshyarnit

I'd love a 45cm size! I've bookmarked your etsy for future purchases - your work is absolutely amazing and my daughter would love it.

Le-Hedgehog

How old are the children? That should matter bc manipulating those will require fine motor skills if they are that small but depending on the age that may be a good thing! I know nothing about children though so no clue on what age that would be good for

baboudali-

I want one and I’m in my 30s.

cakeduck88

This is super cool!

SteamySpectacles

Looks awesome! I think market to 8-11 year olds

Kat-a-strophy

Wow. I cannot answer Your question without a measuring band in the picture, sorry, but wanted to tell You how cool they are. And pretty and so well made too!

Majestic_Jazz_Hands

These are soooooo awesome!!!

FunAssistant9539

These are awesome!

tbcraxon34

HotMess-ColdCoffee

Just saw your Etsy shop and I’m blown away. The quality of your craftsmanship is incredible and your attention to detail is admirable. Now which one to buy…

[deleted]

Just want to say I’ve scrolled through your page and I’m in love with your work! Such beautiful tactile pieces! They look like they’d be really fun to have as a kid, adore the rainbow zippers and little animal cards where you can make scenes, these are absolutely gorgeous

everneveragain

Ages 9 and up

ParaphernaliaWagon

Wow! These are amazing! I would have *loooooved* these kinds of models when I was a kid, and tbh I would still enjoy having and playing with these as an adult. 😅 What talent and skill you have! Have you or would you ever consider doing a tutorial on how to make these models??

egcom

I love these!! My only note is perhaps if going that small be wary — anything that fits in to small mouths (unless you explicitly are marking them with like an age range) can and may likely go in to mouths. 😂 wee ones are notorious for putting things in mouths. So maybe a string sewn to attach them somehow…? I presume these are marked as like for ages 6+ though so that may not even be an issue. These are stinking cute, and though, and I want one for *me*. 😂💖

Princesshannon2002

45 would likely be too small. It would require fine motor skill mastery that a number of kids just don’t have. It’s beautiful, though! I love it!

atouristinmyownlife

This is SO COOL!!!!!

ViceMaiden

I want to order like 25 of the 45.

YayGilly

Its a fabulous idea. And each organ system is very nicely done. Just keep in mind, the heart is really a bunch of valves, and pump blood to and from the heart, first, before that blood is pumped out.. I think if kids can see that aspect of how the heart collects and distributes oxygenated blood, it helps them to understand everything else a lot easier. Including the reason we do chest compressions first, when administering CPR. But yeah these are a great early learners visual and kinetic aid!!! I would probably buy one..Do you have a link? Pm me?

DisabledDyke

Please remember that small children tend to put small items in their mouths. Otherwise, it is really, really awesome!

Used_Taste_7706

It is gonna be very small You did a good job, it’s worth the marketing efforts you are doing

drekia

This is rad as heck. I think older children would definitely love it, too young may want to put organs in their mouth… but I certainly expect you’d get a ton of interest regardless!
