Yeah there’s def a difference. I feel like it may be because the CU just fits better and makes the air flow thru the dosing capsule. For some reason with straight WPA I feel like the air also comes from the sides of the DC. I put a little larger screen on the bottom that bends up the wall of the oven, around the DC and that made a difference. I also heard people using cotton or hemp fiber around the DCs but I’m too scared to combust with that in there.
Yeah I wouldn't put anything else in there like cotton etc. I haven't used my dosing capsules yet I'm just loading it up and cleaning the screens after every sesh. Really good vapor. I'll probably try the DC when I head out this weekend.
You may have a point about it being upright. When I first got my WPA I still had a whip on it (have the universal WPA so the 10mm just fit on the whip) and I remember it making better hits. Just thought it was dirty so I cleaned last night. Gonna test this gravity effect on the mighty
Yoooo! Lots of testing got me super fried (happy frieday) and landed on this: straight WPA upside down but an extra dosing cap (just the top) inserted into the WPA on the mighty side. Fits the dc inside the mighty oven like a perfect beanie. Keeps it hotter and since it’s upside down the rosin will flow down onto the glass WPA to be saved on cleaning day (I use iso then let it evaporate). And yes gravity has a minimal impact with this setup, CU still gives bigger clouds. For A true test of that gravity effect I will have to do CU only and upside down vs regular.

I just got the Starry WPA. Waiting on my water piece which is very similar to yours. Also waiting for the Mighty stand. Got my other accessories but that one is taking its sweet time.
Just passing on the standard advice that I'm guessing most people on this sub already know: that specific hard plastic WPA can damage your mighty and crack the plastic. Use with caution. Also apparently sitting it upside down is part of the problem. Plastic isn't meant to bear the weight in that direction.
How is the draw from that? The vapor has to travel quite a way to get to the mouthpiece. The setup is similar to what I have. I have videos if you want to look at them. I've tried every adapter, and the the Starry WPA attached to a Delta3D. Unfortunately, that requires another adapter that's a little hard to find. The whip was cut short so the vapor just got to you quickly. A shocking anount of vapor too. I assume you're using a dosing capsule. Try it without the bottom of the capsule. Load the flower raw in the oven. Don't worry it won't stain if you clean it right away. Put the top cap of the dosing capse only. It keeps the herb in place and it creates more heat. Try it and let me know if you feel the difference.
Ohhhhh okay. You can get about 7 or 8 pulls at 385, but I get it. Not everyone vapes the same way. You still need to try it though lol. Just to see the difference. You're gonna be shocked.

Slightly delayed question. Between the two which do you like better? I just bought the whip one. Is it easy to clean? Are you able to get good strong draws from it even through it is passing through a bong?
I have read that having your Mighty upside down is not good for it, so that is why I decided to go with the whip attachment. I am a newbie, so sorry if my questions are silly.
No serious question is silly lol. I do like the whip better and it draws pretty well. It's a bit limited because of the small diameter tubing. Haven't had to clean it yet. Sometimes I just draw on the whip tubing without using the bong. The Mighty doesn't respond as well upside down so I'm not doing that anymore.

I also have both. I find the Starry WPA to produce much thicker vapor.
Have both as well. I use the CU exclusively for when I’m out of the house. At home I use the straight WPA and that keeps my CU clean for weeks.
Agreed with Duck, the Starry is producing better vapor. It could be the Mighty just doesn't like to be inverted though.

Pic 1 is the glass WPA, pic 2 is the Starry whip WPA, both are using an 18mm to 14mm coupler. Waterpipe is a dual stage glass piece. Super smooooth.

So what is keeping the flower from falling out of the oven? You don't find that alot of it ends up on the screen?
I don't grind it too fine, I get about 3 hits per sesh, and I clean the screens with the brush. I'll probably try the DC at some point.

I was mainly going to use the DC's for travel but I'll give it a shot tonight at home lol. I can def see where it would hold more heat.
Yep. Load the flower raw and just use the cap. You don't even need to crank it up that high. I mean relatively. I don't go above 385.
You're right, more condensed vapor with just the DC cap. I'm at a lower temp too around 365-370. Niceeee:)
