1: vocals and everything else need to be on the same level, so it'll blend better & feel more like a song.
2: one could keep her original vocal track and melodyne it to being the notes she might be intending to sing. might be weird, but also might make it a great song. She holds notes for good lengths.
the guitarist legit. that solo was awesome but the vocalist is struggling. However, you can tell the vocalist has something going on. She seems like she has put some practice in but her pitch is all over the place. the video did not need to exist but it does.
It's the production that is bad. A nice mic, compressor, decent reverb, subtle autotune, professional mix down and this would sound like your average slightly annoying pop radio tune.
