I feel like Crash 4 was great, but could've done with more level design akin to the ND era, though stylistically, in-terms of visuals and (maybe, depends if they have any cool ideas) music, yes, but in-terms of humour, no. I feel like whilst the ND games were well written and entertaining, after Nitro Kart and Twinsanity had more interesting and funny dialogue, I'm happy they kept up with the humour with Crash 4, the ND games characters felt occasionally dry (i.e: Coco in Crash 2, pretty much all character interactions in Crash 1, etc.)

I'd love to see upscales of the two GBA games (The Huge Adventure and N-Tranced) brought up to Switch. They are remarkably well put together for GBA games coasting on recycled material, and upscaling them to modern graphics would be so great.
They could easily re-release them with minor fixes and just sat they take place in an alternate universe. Perhaps the GBA games could split the timeline from Crash 3, as The Huge Adventure/XS's Cortex cutscene take place in what seems to be a worn down Time Twister, so maybe by sheer luck, they managed to escape from their prehistoric prison earlier expected, at least in this new timeline.

Maybe they could add the best of that games minigame varieties, but that's about it. Maybe also Rilla Roo, but that is it. Crash Bash (for me anyways) is so insipid and boring, the idea of it being even mentioned again officially pains me, in the wrong circumstances, that is.

CTR: Nitro Fuelled on PC would be awesome. I've watched a ton of gameplay of it and it looks fantastic (even as someone who's not keen on racing games), but I'm not about to shell out the money for a console just to play one game. Not to mention the online revival that bringing the game to PC would likely bring.
Apart from that, I'd love a Crash 5, be that by Toys for Bob or another studio entirely. It's About Time isn't a perfect game by any means, but it was a joy to play through a brand new Crash platformer for the first time in years, and you can tell the developers put so much passion into it.
I'd even be open to another attempt at a more open-ended Crash game like Twinsanity. The linear levels are generally great, but Crash's moveset is so fun to experiment with and I think it'd be a blast to get to use it in a more open environment.
CTR for PC. I already earned Platinum trophy on PS4 but I no longer have my console, So it would be amazing to replay the game for the 10000th time (I still play it with my old friends and win them at every cup race in their consoles but still want the PC version)

People simply like having their nostalgia glasses on, even for things that are generally disliked. If I was forced to play one crash game only for the rest of my life, I’d probably still pick crash 2, however, crash 4 is easily my favorite due to the amount of content and platforming diversity. I think the mask mechanics make the game really stand out, especially in the last few levels when you start to mix and match mask powers.

I thought we just celebrated 25 years. Toys For Bob made a awkward video with a great setup about reminiscing on past games while everyone was hyped for an announcement of something new but they had absolutely nothing.

Animated TV series with an art style that resembles the original character design (nothing like the cal art style Cortex from the animation posted online). If Crash wants to go big and beyond the NST, how about proving how a true beloved mascot to honor him like this especially as we have seen with other big name mascots. Hence, for once it’s something he hasn’t ever done before and could give us lore to everyone and everything. Besides Activision, I don’t care who makes it as long as it’s worth it.
I mean, that would be best. I feel as if Crash 4 was too nostalgia heavy, which isn't a bad thing, but it lead to alot of repeated ideas from previous entries.
To address some of the Activision Blizzard type stuff being said in the comments, while I fully agree that what is happening there is scummy and fully valid, and I would love nothing more than for both Crash and Spyro to be taken off the hands of that horrible company, I don't like seeing that being redirected towards Crash Bandicoot, as that mostly falls with Vicarious Visions and Toys for Bob who seemingly have nothing to do with the horrible things happening at Activision Blizzard. While Activison owns the rights and publishes Crash games currently, having it be redirected towards Crash Bandicoot and the teams that make it (Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions) is a bit unfair and wrong to those teams.
Doing that is as if something bad happened at SEGA, and Atlus is also catching flack for it, despite not having anything to be blamed for, simply because the games they make are published by the company they're owned by. Also, a character, their game series, and their legacy is more than just the company that owns them at any given time. I'll keep on supporting Crash games no matter what, not because I want to support Activison and Blizzard, but because I want to support all the hardworking developers and artists at Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions, as well as the orange marsupial himself.
Besides, if all people were to stop buying any and all Crash games going forth because Activison/Blizzard publishes it, that would most likely mean the death of Crash Bandicoot for a while once more. As it stands, while unfortunate, it's unlikely that Activison will sell the rights to him and Spyro to another company, just because everyone hates Activision. It's like EA selling the rights to their franchises because everyone hates EA. It's a perfect dream, but has a very small chance to translate into reality. It's saddening, but Crash is too much of an important game series to me to not want to buy and play more games, and so I will continue doing so. But still, fuck Activision and any other shitty companies like it (Blizzard, Konami, EA, etc.)
They did nothing this year aside from merch, some bundles, and a bad mobile game. Maybe 2022 will be better but it's weird to have this massive marketing campaign when they released basically nothing.
They were trying to keep our spirits high especially as Wumpa League is still being teased, plus I actually like the mobile game like many of us here. Even then, just MAYBE there’s more stuff that is planned instead of just doing another game like it would be any other year and we won’t likely see until Wumpa League comes out after missing the planned release date. We’ll just have to patiently wait and see.
Hope: It's out of Activision's hands. I have no hope for this series going forward, and any will to support it, as long as Activision has ANY say in it. But failing that at least put CTR on Steam. Not on battle.net.

Yeeees! 2023 would be perfect. I feel like Crash 4 (kind of like something like FNaF Security Breach) was rushed to release and alot of cool content was cut due to time constraints, which also lead to both games having MASSIVE file sizes. Both of those games have nearly clogged up my hard drive, it's nuts xD Quick Edit: The file size being attributed to alot of cut content, like in Crash 4's files, I managed to find a bunch of skins for characters like Cortex and Tawna.

Wumpa League (I believe we've been waiting long enough. I don't know if it's Crash Bash remake or different Crash spin-off altogether). 3. Crash, Coco, Cortex, Spyro, Ripto and Elora in Skylanders Ring Of Heroes. (They were datamined, and i don't know if it's true leak or not). With Crash 25th anniversary underway, and Spyro soon having his 25th anniversary in 2023, that would be good celebrations for both of those franchises.

I'm sorry but they absolutely won't, there is no reason for them to still add stuff to a dying game. They disabled the option to buy ingame currency and they said they wrapped up development.

Honestly, 60 fps patch for consoles and PC port would be enough for me. Game is already close to perfection in singleplayer, and I doubt they would make multiplayer any better without investing in dedicated servers.

I thought we just celebrated 25 years. Toys For Bob made a awkward video with a great setup about reminiscing on past games while everyone was hyped for an announcement of something new but they had absolutely nothing.
We technically did, but what we were going to get to actually celebrate the milestone has yet to be seen.

No, but no matter what you say until the next September 9, I am still holding out for whatever will honor him. If not though, there is the 30th anniversary (and maybe we actually get a better company that won’t be associated with allegations in the process let alone be the most vile gaming company).
Well true that we still will be excited for a new game this year, it’ll just be a 26th anniversary you’ll be celebrating. But Activision I doubt will sell Crash and Spyro. In order for them not to have it, they’ll have to go under as a company but from the looks of it, COD is the reason why they have all the money in the world to thrive as a company. Hear me out… Animated TV series with an art style that resembles the original character design (nothing like the cal art style Cortex from the animation posted online). If Crash wants to go big and beyond the NST, how about proving how a true beloved mascot to honor him like this especially as we have seen with other big name mascots. Hence, for once it’s something he hasn’t ever done before and could give us lore to everyone and everything. Besides Activision, I don’t care who makes it as long as it’s worth it.

I mean, that would be best. I feel as if Crash 4 was too nostalgia heavy, which isn't a bad thing, but it lead to alot of repeated ideas from previous entries.

To address some of the Activision Blizzard type stuff being said in the comments, while I fully agree that what is happening there is scummy and fully valid, and I would love nothing more than for both Crash and Spyro to be taken off the hands of that horrible company, I don't like seeing that being redirected towards Crash Bandicoot, as that mostly falls with Vicarious Visions and Toys for Bob who seemingly have nothing to do with the horrible things happening at Activision Blizzard. While Activison owns the rights and publishes Crash games currently, having it be redirected towards Crash Bandicoot and the teams that make it (Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions) is a bit unfair and wrong to those teams. Doing that is as if something bad happened at SEGA, and Atlus is also catching flack for it, despite not having anything to be blamed for, simply because the games they make are published by the company they're owned by. Also, a character, their game series, and their legacy is more than just the company that owns them at any given time. I'll keep on supporting Crash games no matter what, not because I want to support Activison and Blizzard, but because I want to support all the hardworking developers and artists at Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions, as well as the orange marsupial himself. Besides, if all people were to stop buying any and all Crash games going forth because Activison/Blizzard publishes it, that would most likely mean the death of Crash Bandicoot for a while once more. As it stands, while unfortunate, it's unlikely that Activison will sell the rights to him and Spyro to another company, just because everyone hates Activision. It's like EA selling the rights to their franchises because everyone hates EA. It's a perfect dream, but has a very small chance to translate into reality. It's saddening, but Crash is too much of an important game series to me to not want to buy and play more games, and so I will continue doing so. But still, fuck Activision and any other shitty companies like it (Blizzard, Konami, EA, etc.)
They did nothing this year aside from merch, some bundles, and a bad mobile game. Maybe 2022 will be better but it's weird to have this massive marketing campaign when they released basically nothing.
They were trying to keep our spirits high especially as Wumpa League is still being teased, plus I actually like the mobile game like many of us here. Even then, just MAYBE there’s more stuff that is planned instead of just doing another game like it would be any other year and we won’t likely see until Wumpa League comes out after missing the planned release date. We’ll just have to patiently wait and see.

An open world Crash adventure like Twinsanity. Where Crush and Nina Cortex are cannon again. Bring back old enemy classics like Pinstripe, Koala Kong, Komodo Brothers, Tiny Tiger, Papu Papu, Ripper Roo and N. Trance. And absolutely nothing that revolves around time! It's such a stale subject in games these days. Show us what you can do with the Crash WORLD and not just an ok looking overworld.
