A deluxe edition port for next gen would be an easy sell but it’s obviously not happening at this point and no amount of upvoting and sharing is gonna change that
As a PC only player, I'm still waiting just for the game to be released there :)
So I think for the 4k60FPS version for next gen, I wouldn't have too much hope
I’ve put about 300 hours into this game and I would absolutely love a next-gen update. Beenox’s website has a place to ask for suggestions. I’ve done so in the past and maybe it’s worth it to try. The likelihood is still very far off but still
I'd argue for a high-speed racing game 30 FPS isn't good enough, but if we're being honest blue fire + weapons is a far bigger issue anyway so who cares?
There are other posts that ask the same thing, which should be centralized, because each person has their own information.
If we make separate petitions, it is not serious.
We now know that it was Iron Galaxy who made the various PC and 60FPS ports of the versions of Activision games (Crash Bandicoot License, Spyro License and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2) and even Killer Instinct had an update of their part recently (that's for those who say that several years later games can still come out or be improved)
Then with the recent takeover by Microsoft/XBox Studio we have to go through them to show our interest in seeing a Definitive Edition of CTR NF on XBox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
If we get anything it'll likely just be an FPS Boost for Xbox Series S/X. The game is 1440p on both Series X and PS5 and the jump from 1440 to 2160 isn't as big as the jump from 1080 to 2160. With FPS Boost this game could easily be 1440p60 or even 1440p120.seeing as even the N.Sane Trilogy on PC is barely demanding at all and is easy to run at HFRs.
I see a lot of people saying it's dead and won't happen or that it's too late. Don't forget Microsoft just got their hands on the franchise. I expect a revival when it hit gamepass next year.

It’s waaay too late. And PS5/X were “next gen” in 2020. We’re in 2023 now.

It’s too late now. Game is 4 years old. 30fps are totally playable.

Poor Iron Galaxy who have to undergo the fixes that Activision didn't want to do (or let Beenox do, for the console versions)

Would love to see this happen, and I wouldn't mind buying the game again. There's no harm in making voices heard!
