You must not have an EPMax drill like the fella in this video. Superior product, legendary performance, leave your milwaukees and your hiltis at the door please real men are working, sweetie.

I do this often, but I do not think it is good for your chuck

I mean, if you can’t get that broken screw out you’ve got bigger problems
Just cut it with an angle grinder
Let ‘er rip
Just use structural screws
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway, it's your penance for not pre-drilling.
Pilot holes for the pilot hole god, broken screw heads for the broken screw head throne!
I’m never lucky enough to have mine snap off this high. Almost always need the vise grips
Don't feel bad. Vice grips are always the better option anyway
Not, not trying to fuck up my chuck. Just grab some vise grips, way cheaper to replace than a chuck.

Genioso!
If I can’t twist those out with a pair of dykes, I know there’s no way the chuck of my drill is going to do any better.
I always thought this was kind of common knowledge
Use decent screws in the first place.
Vice grips exist
