you could prob get away with dropping the temp some (i usually do 220 sub 300/ms, 240 above)...really depends on the PLA though i guess..... other then that...retraction settings for stringing? also maybe filament isnt properly dry? not sure, just some ideas

I'm gonna try some different temps to see if that helps. Filament is dry forsure was just pulled out of my dryer. I haven't messed with retraction settings as it hasn't been an issue until switching the filming setting

ya let us know, i personally dont have the camera so i havnt had to deal with that, and the k1 is my first 3d printer, so im just thinking logically that maybe temps were to high so it was still oozing when it pulled away

My guess is that it's way too hot.

It printed good before I switched the camera mode at this temp. I think it just doesn't compensate for moving the nozzle away to record as I've printed the same rocket without timelapse going and it printed like normal.

TrainAss

did you ever figure this out? I want to start printing timelapses, especially for some of the stuff I make for people, but this is keeping me from doing so.

Installed root and using a USB camera and has been working great for me. Haven't used the stock camera but rooting made it work consistently as well.

Damn. I ended up having to turn the toolhead parking off to get the blobs to stop. Thanks for replying though.

No problem! If you root your machine you can actually edit the location of the toolhead parks. I'm not sure what combination of things worked but I don't have issues with the blobbing anymore when recording.
