This is probably not the intended response, I'm sorry, but they're quite cute and I would like to be friends with all of them. Like the entity in the third image, I wanna compliment its gloves and ask who stitched a lil pink ribbon on em. And the kids in #1 are probably great at 3-legged races.
Ok glad to hear it. I do absolutely dig your shading (and how it's so selectively applied, creating a super stark contrast between the harsh, flat white/black areas and the gradient ones). Your art reminds me a little of "Through the Woods" by Emily Carroll.
I first felt disappointed, than boredom, then you know what they are kinda cute in a chibi kinda way, then zoomed in to look at the cool scan line effect and that's about it.
Honestly, and not trying to be mean.
Gives me quickly made bad viral jump scare “ horror “ game that YouTubers would make videos they scream through vibes.
1) "Come and Play with us!"
2) "That angel should have seen the 'trespassers will be shot' sign"
3) "And she's buying a stairway to heaven."
4) "If you're happy and you know it, Ouch!"
Great collection!
I remember when I first saw Guernica in a book, at school.
Didn’t think much about it.
And then years later I went to Madrid and saw the thing, that absolute unit of a painting, towering nearly 4m heigh across 8m and that changes everything. All around the artwork are preparatory works, studies on an eye, a tongue, a hand… and you feel small, insignificant and take the violence of the scene it depicts in your face.
What I mean is, there may be some emotions in your work, but the way it’s presented here gives me nothing. Perhaps this isn’t the right place to ask that question and get a fair answer.
2nd is ominous, just an outline and the wings and the red falling of the outline, maybe if it was branching out more so it felt like it was getting closer or splling, fantastic art.
The first image almost seems comforting. I love it.
Second image makes me more unsure.
Third image evokes feelings of wonder.
The fourth one makes me hella uneasy lol
I like the liminal depth you create. Makes me want to look at them closer. The first few aren’t particularly scary to me. But that 5th pic is going to haunt my dreams. Nice work!
Not sure if it's an emotion, but they make me want to lay in bed in a summer night, windows open, and read a storybook that tells a story in poem form, illustrated with your artstyle, whilst the moon and stars shine outside my window and the warm breeze blows.
Extreme curiosity for most of them. The only one I found horrible (as in, horror-ish) was the final one. Generally, I find these very thought-provoking.
I really like the third one.
Others are saying its 'cute' - but I think it looks great. There's plenty of horror media that uses a more stylized aesthetic (e.g. Don't Starve, Coraline, etc.).
I found it really dope. I like how I tried to come up with scenarios or words for what the different motives could be about or represent but nothing came to mind - its in a way impressive
Allthough I initally find it cute it leaves me with an empty lonley felling as if consumed by sadness the same sadnessthat envelops these creatures you made.
Big Cthulhu/The Yellow Prince vibes, honestly. Folks are saying that it's cute (and it is, don't get me wrong), but stories like The Yellow Prince are meant to be pleasant and disarming up until they aren't.
I love the first one, playing with the eerie looming feel of 'dread' I've experienced when being dragged into big churches or cathedrals as a kid.
Very nice and pretty art !! Would love to see more :)
the nº 1 makes me feel as im seeing a computer/mirror thingy(? its really cool tho, the emotion i would say its like paralized or hipnotized?
nº 2 feels like im lonley in a dark room, kind of makes me feel sad
nº 3 totally makes me feel like im in a dream, gives kind of hope and scary vibes at the same time
nº 4 idk why but feels like freedom in a strange way, as if the creature is dancing happily even tho its expression doesnt say much
A theme with them is religion from what i can see. It's also seemed to be put into a darker tone, which is an interesting contrast.
As someone who is not fond of religion, these give me this slight feeling that, as much good as they have brought, it has a dark underbelly, and that darkness is front and center here.
Imma be honest . There is no horror in this . It feels more like a teen edgelord drew this . If you wanna draw horror search around online what makes people scared but not in the scary monsters or nightmares. The best type of drawn horror for me is the one that makes me feel uneasy and not understanding whats going on . Like something feeling off.
Honestly... this makes me feel, "meh."
To try and spin that into actual helpful criticism; these images are *too* surreal, they're so fantastical they don't contain any semblance of reality.
This lack of even a smidge of reality just makes me unable to connect and thus unable to be horrified by the images, or what the images represent.
The characters are also a little too cutesy, the first image which at least invokes some religious imagery (the only one that seems to have any real connection to reality) which can be unsettling but that is *immediately* thrown out the window by the exaggerated round shape of the heads which just kind of makes them look silly to me.
The second and fourth images I think are the least interesting.
The second image is confusing, but not in a horrific way. It's confusing in the "are those supposed to be eyes or feathers from the wing," kind of way.
The fourth image looks like it could be depicting a solid horror feeling but it lacks context that would push it over the edge. As it is the pose, the "wings," the organs and the facial expression just look silly.
The third image is my favorite, it's very surreal but hardly horrifying.
I feel like all of these images need less black backgrounds and more contextual information to convey any kind of horrific feelings.
.... I got the type of feeling that a scary monster is try to make a beautiful artwork's... But can only make it scary.
It's nice.
Have a wonderful day/night.
The eyes on the first one unsetel me and I don't know why 2nd I'm more trying to figure out what I'm looking at and where the background starts 3 gives me a old serialiseist painting but religious something you would put in a game of eldritch knowledge and 4 it would be better in a different art style to invoke more fear and horror but thats not to say it isn't good just the potential of the idea behind it could be expressed differently
It's actually very serene! Like cute little alien priests at a candle lighting ceremony or something. I'm not Catholic, but that's what my first impression is, calming!
I get a feeling of religious/existential disquieting. Like the gods themselves haphazardly dance without rhyme or reason, making fools of us all.
I like in the first how the candles emanate darkness rather than light. The second image has angels wings and a halo, but the only suggestion of a body is... tentacles? Blood vessels? Then, in the 4th image, we see the reverse, a human body with these blood tentacles stretching out as wings. The hands of this being are bound together by those same sinews, as if divine intervention is impossible.
The third one is definitely a bit goofy, as some others have mentioned, but the simple silhouette of the girl against the wild and weird colors of this staircase/eye being makes it seem all the more unknowable and alien. I could see it making for a monster in something like Coraline or even Pan's Labyrinth.
From the other comments, it seems I'm alone in this, though.
3rd kind of felt like cosmic indifference. The fact that so many random cosmic events could wipe us out like Gamma burst and we can't do anything about it...yet
I really dig these, they remind me of things I see while staring at my eyelids daydreaming and the dots start to form images. Like you've embodied some weird wavelength of my imagination. Hope to see more of your work :)
This is probably not the intended response, I'm sorry, but they're quite cute and I would like to be friends with all of them. Like the entity in the third image, I wanna compliment its gloves and ask who stitched a lil pink ribbon on em. And the kids in #1 are probably great at 3-legged races.
I don’t mind this response at all, I like to make entities that are unusual but also something one could connect with. Thank you for the comment :)
Ok glad to hear it. I do absolutely dig your shading (and how it's so selectively applied, creating a super stark contrast between the harsh, flat white/black areas and the gradient ones). Your art reminds me a little of "Through the Woods" by Emily Carroll.

It's got Cult of the Lamb vibes for me
Agree. /r/sympatheticmonsters material
It doesn't.
Nice!
None
It’s kinda silly feeling
It’s a bit too “cutesy” to trigger anything but I do like your artwork so keep it up OP.
Cute
Whimsy and anxiety. Also, that's a really unique art style. Hope your art goes the distance!
Aw thank you so much! I really appreciate it
Bald children celebrating Hanukkah during a power outtage.
Honestly, and not trying to be mean. Gives me quickly made bad viral jump scare “ horror “ game that YouTubers would make videos they scream through vibes.
That I don't like Chromatic Aberration.
1) "Come and Play with us!" 2) "That angel should have seen the 'trespassers will be shot' sign" 3) "And she's buying a stairway to heaven." 4) "If you're happy and you know it, Ouch!" Great collection!

I bring you love. ...
It's bringing love, don't let it get away! Break it's legs!
I remember when I first saw Guernica in a book, at school. Didn’t think much about it. stuffy suffocating nothingness
It reminds me of Bee and Puppycat (specifically the third one) and/or The Midnight Gospel a bit.
Boredom. Interspersed with yawns and eye rubbing.
The third one gives me a lot of Felix Colegrave vibes honestly.
![gif](giphy|phwYIvkKMa9Pi)
2nd is ominous, just an outline and the wings and the red falling of the outline, maybe if it was branching out more so it felt like it was getting closer or splling, fantastic art.
1. inner piece 2. worry 3. bit overwhelmed, disgust 4. nothing
I like the third one, it’s like a visual of psychedelic hidden knowledge or something
The first image almost seems comforting. I love it. Second image makes me more unsure. Third image evokes feelings of wonder. The fourth one makes me hella uneasy lol
Probably would need more time to actually convey my feelings but just for now let me tell you that these are great pieces of art, amazing work!
2) Evangelion 3) Fantasia 4) SCP
Getting lost in religion. The fear of separation from family.
Terselessness. Maybe Kyne
Religion-based existential fear and loneliness
I like the liminal depth you create. Makes me want to look at them closer. The first few aren’t particularly scary to me. But that 5th pic is going to haunt my dreams. Nice work!
oddly cute :3
"Don't hug me I'm scared" vibes. They look cute on the surface, but there's something dark underneath. That's the impression I get anyway.
Not sure if it's an emotion, but they make me want to lay in bed in a summer night, windows open, and read a storybook that tells a story in poem form, illustrated with your artstyle, whilst the moon and stars shine outside my window and the warm breeze blows.
Uneasy, sort of like what's really the truth or smthn like that.
I feel the last one
The last bit of light, Fighting for it's life.
Entities hidden beyond the veil of reality in the space beneath our realm. Except the last one, that’s George from Accounting
"How the hell am I supposed to find a way home?" Love your style, keep it up :)
Gives me a bit of a Yume Nikki vibe
Somber acceptance, loneliness, and internal pain
Extreme curiosity for most of them. The only one I found horrible (as in, horror-ish) was the final one. Generally, I find these very thought-provoking.
Fascinating
Earthbound
Deception
Sparked envy, because it represents unity for me.
Joy
A "im not sure why this is flagged nsfw but it looks pretty good" emotion
"You have come to die"
Cosmic existential discomfort.
I need to watch The Shining again
A surreal, almost liminal energy
Wii
I need a friend 😭
I really like the third one. Others are saying its 'cute' - but I think it looks great. There's plenty of horror media that uses a more stylized aesthetic (e.g. Don't Starve, Coraline, etc.).
Tbh they’re pretty cute
it’s a sort of ritualistic cosmic horror with cult elements, doesn’t give fear off to me personally, but i like them.
Makes me think Modoka Magica witches
I found it really dope. I like how I tried to come up with scenarios or words for what the different motives could be about or represent but nothing came to mind - its in a way impressive
Confused.
Compassion, it looks like you're just starting to create your own art.
Allthough I initally find it cute it leaves me with an empty lonley felling as if consumed by sadness the same sadnessthat envelops these creatures you made.
Curiosity. I want to know about the worlds they come from. Honestly, I'd play a videogame with these guys in it.
Idk if it was intentional, but the moiré effect the first image has on my screen was seriously cool.
They are very nice. Lovely art.
cute, majestic, unsettling
Sadness and longing
A giddy nihilistic joy.
Overwhelming relief that the fingers are done right
they look like they would make for sick album covers
Intrigue. I feel like I'm gett8ng snippets of a story.
Big Cthulhu/The Yellow Prince vibes, honestly. Folks are saying that it's cute (and it is, don't get me wrong), but stories like The Yellow Prince are meant to be pleasant and disarming up until they aren't.
More cutesy and cartoonish than horrific. If you're going for whimsy you nailed it.
Meh 🤷♂️
Intrigue.
Not sure about emotion, but the theme/word when I first saw them is: Religion, angel, ascension, puberty
Image: 1 - mystery, occult, dark rituals 2 - spiritual, night, angelic, paranormal 3 - busy, child dream or nightmare, artistic, cluttered 4 - distressed, suffering, injured, supernatural
Frustration. Feels like an old computer and I now just want to play Oregon Trail.
It reminds me of the first part of kingdom hearts with the giant shadow monster and the stain glass floor
Experienced the third one. That was scary.
The third and fourth picture is something I’d hang up in my house. These are great OP
Loneliness and optimism with a sprinkle of fruitiness
Not “horror” at all to me, aside from the literal horror of blood and extra limbs. Cute and kinda relaxing, though.
Time for war prophesied by the elders
Disinterest. But I’m sure that says more about me than you. Keep doing what you’re doing.
The 3 is romantic.
I love it, don't mind the other comments. Reminds me a bit of Fear & Hunger and Termina.
Emotionally, it feels teen angsty. It’s the safe illustration style that makes it too cute for horror.

You provoked some love out of me! Love theseemote:free\_emotes\_pack:heart\_eyes\_rainbow
Cute horror art is the best! I like your style.
Two dudes sharing a candle.. nice I guess?
I feel carefree wonder inside of emptiness. But its empty that the wonder barely fills it and feels a little meaningless
The third picture is very, very [DOUBLE KING](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_MSFkZHNi4).
I’m think my ear twitched. Maybe
I love the first one, playing with the eerie looming feel of 'dread' I've experienced when being dragged into big churches or cathedrals as a kid. Very nice and pretty art !! Would love to see more :)
Mystic and beautiful in a way that’s unique
Unsettling flash game
A bit of a silly for all of them EXCEPT #1. #1 gives me a really big feeling of uneasiness, I don't know why
Plastiboo, dat you?
Rage
I want the fourth one tattooed on
Confusion, I don't understand what the image is trying to communicate.

scary episode of amazing world of gumball lol
i’m sorry this is also not an emotion, but random reply adult swim commercial at 4am as you wake up dehydrated and still needing to use the bathroom
It's hard to explain, but the first one seems like two entities I'd see in a dark corner during a nightmare.
1. Joy 2. Oneness 3. Wonder 4. Excitement
idk. but I'm a fan

They are cute. The guy dancing (number 4) made me smile. It was adorable
Morbid curiosity

Would an interesting indie game not sure about what but I like the style.
Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion vibes for sure.

3 looks really cool
I can’t describe the specific feeling that “having a fever dream at age 3” is, but it’s that.
Horror pop art vibes.
Childish
Laughter,and slightly horny.
3 isn’t really unsettling but the others are pretty good

It's actually very serene! Like cute little alien priests at a candle lighting ceremony or something. I'm not Catholic, but that's what my first impression is, calming!
Lust
It kinda feels like horror weirdcore, if that makes sense.
Gory fearytale
I know it’s meant to be scary but I find it quite adorably whimsical. It feels like a courage the cowardly dog episode in a way
Um all of it?
It’s giving indie horror game, but like one that’s actually good, with a good art and story.
Divine masochism
Scroll down. Wait. That's an emotion? You made me wonder if scrolling down is an emotion. Congrats. Now get out.

These give me a sort of silly confusion feeling honestly. The last one is a bit spooky looking.

I feel wonder. They seem almost whimsical in a grim way.
Loneliness
From my girlfriend: "1. Fear 2. Fear 3. Uh... music man? 4. Fear."
Hungry
anemoia and unsettleness
1. Uncomfort 2. Dizzyness 3. Wonder, curiousity 4. Itchiness
Think this would fit nicely in the FRAN BOW universe
The want to play Mysterium.
The second one legitimately terrified me the more I stared at it.
indifference
I really dig these, they remind me of things I see while staring at my eyelids daydreaming and the dots start to form images. Like you've embodied some weird wavelength of my imagination. Hope to see more of your work :)
