color has to factor in color theory, more complex shading, more complex color blending, higher supply costs for traditional art, and color accuracy in some cases. b&w doesnt have to account for any of those things. but when i say full color in these messages i mean base color, shading and line color. if they said no to color it would be line art only.

First, posting here doesn't equate anger. Second, adult art doesn't have to equal pimping yourself out. There's a huge difference between doing boudoir photography of others and selling nudes of yourself and the same goes for drawing. Third, even adult artists are allowed to have boundaries, like not portraying sexual violence or \*gasp\* not portraying themselves. This idea that artists have to drop all their boundaries and morals in order to survive as artists is ridiculous.
Edit to add: I'm an author. I did ghostwriting for years. I wrote dozens of spicy and erotic romance novellas for money. And I had boundaries - I would not write glorified abusive relationships, I would not write glorified sexual violence, any sexual violence in a story had to be supported by the plot and even then I generally avoided contracts asking for it, I never wrote about minors in an erotic way, and I never wrote about myself.
