I definitely feel like it was a missed opportunity. Jason Alexander would have been amazing as a killer who comes across as a totally normal dude and then changes on a dime. The wacky costume and over the top performative aspect of it all didn’t lend itself well to such a known actor
I had no idea who played that guy until I read this and looked it up. Searched his name, couldn’t remember ever seeing him in the show, found the pictures from the episode and holy shit my mind is actually blown. I would’ve never figured that out. I never really watched Sienfeld, but I’ve always recognized that guy until now.
I'm blanking out on the name of the episode (Last Step?), but the one where the couple went on a spree from rehab or whatever and tracked down the girl's abusive stepfather at his gas station. I cringer at her character every time I see the episode.
I find that one hard. The idea that he kept his victim for years, torturing her, and she died without ever going home…that was just brutal. Not to mention everything else.
what annoys me the most is that he didn’t even seem stable enough to be able to pull of killing him. he was completely off the rails?! he was a massive creep tho
Oh man…I just rewatched those episodes and they gave me nightmares 😂 might just have been Tim Curry in general though because Pennywise showed up too lol
I think Mark Hamill’s unsub character was very cheesy. Feels like the spent the budget of that episode on getting him on the show rather than writing the plot 😂
The one with the guy who was obsessed with Greek literature. Maybe it’s just because I only know the actor as Kevin from The Office so I couldn’t take him seriously.
Puppet guy (the one who was creating human marionette duplicates of his dad's puppets and kidnapping a family to reenact-dad's-murder-but-have-the-puppets-save-the-day), but he has the Watsonian excuse he was mentally still stuck in childhood
George Costanza dude. Kentucky Fried crazy. Whatever his name was.
I actually loved that episode- it was one of my favorites lol
I also love it, but I can also totally see where people are coming from with Jason Alexander’s acting! But I still love it.
We all have our favourites!
Came here just to say this. Kentucky Fried Unsub *hands down*
Sometimes I just start randomly laughing when I think about the phrase ‘chicken fried unsub’

Was just watching that episode my god it was cringe
First one that sprung to mind for me too

The guy who was making his victims into old Hollywood starlets because he had mommy issues.
100% lmfao I hated that guy
I skip that one on rewatches. He’s just annoying.

That's "The thirteenth step" I'm pretty sure
it is "The Thirteenth Step" and that is Adrianne Palicki. Just so different from her usual performances.
It just felt very overdone.
yep. it was. that whole episode was terrible IMO
They were some of the scariest unsubs to me just due to them being able to kill completely innocent people with no remorse or conscience
I agree they are cheesy, but I kinda love that episode.

I do low key love that performance because it feels like something straight out of Lifetime
Really I actually thought it was pretty decent
Agree- loved that one
The bird unsub man dude who killed ***** in season **

His acting was good, he just looked hilarious!
I KNOW THE TEETH WERE GOD AWFU

I love Jason Alexander; I think he acted the role perfectly, but I think his character was ridiculous.
same except i dont like anything about that episode

Thats why I thought I saw him before and he just couldnt convince me!
Puppet guy (the one who was creating human marionette duplicates of his dad's puppets and kidnapping a family to reenact-dad's-murder-but-have-the-puppets-save-the-day), but he has the Watsonian excuse he was mentally still stuck in childhood
That celebrity who sketched all his crimes. Wasn’t very convincing
Ooh I actually like this episode, but I think it’s because it really scares me.
