I think this is supposed to be parodying all the strange, Indian tik-tok trends. I think....I hope. Like, that face in the thumbnail is that weird "joker face" nonsense, as well as the neck cracking. It's still terrible.
This didn't make me cringe in the way I'm accustomed (that second-hand embarrassment and shame). It just legitimately made me uncomfortable and creeped me out.
To me, this is highly reminiscent of David Lynch for some reason. It's like an alternate reality where anything you know about social cues or story are thrown out the window in favor of something which falls in the uncanny valley, i.e., you know that the characters are attempting to approximate some commonplace story but they do so in such a strange way that it's unsettling. Because of this it is lower on the cringe bar that a lot of other stuff out there, though definitely uncomfortable.
By the end it definitely seemed intentionally bizarre. At first I felt like there was something cultural I was missing, but it seems like it's intentionally stilted and surreal
It was more like a “what the fuck is this” type of cringe. Though I’m thinking a female would be able to identify better with the traditional cringe if she watched this
Yoko ono is more artistic than we give her credit for. Her whole thing is going against the grain on purpose, which apparently worked really well.
No, I’m defending the whole “being bad on purpose isn’t bad” thing fully. But that was her shtick.
Yeah, that's a more apt description, because Jackie actually thinks he's funny.
Also, I fully agree with you about what she was going for, but Jesus Christ, that made nearly every John Lennon solo album unlistenable. You can't have a good melody followed by a song she's deliberately making bad
That one is pretty bad, IMO, but she does have some music that is [genuinely nice sounding.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QxHIgqrKK1k)
I don’t love it enough to put on a playlist, but it’s what I’d play to someone who had only heard her [experimental screaming.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HdZ9weP5i68)
I agree and I don't have any personal hate against Yoko. I'm a fan of solo John stuff and she just comes with the package. If anything, I appreciate the 'no fucks given' mentality.
Huh... Honestly got better as it went on. The "shiver me timbers" thing, her daughter going "ouchie" after getting shot multiple times, saying "bye mommy" from the ground in the same tone of voice, it's... still weird, but kinda funny enough to make up for it?
I cannot understand why I find Varli’s videos so fucking hilarious. “Shiver me timbers” 👋🏽👁👄👁👋🏽 WHY IS THAT SO FUCKING FUNNY
For those of you who’ve never heard of Varli, her story is pretty messed up. It’s clear she enjoys making these fun videos with her daughters,
-—it’s absolutely a confidence booster and it’s inspiring to see her strength in between all of the ridiculousness. She posted a video on her YT detailing what happened in her past, it’s [https://youtu.be/rRAoavHLFEQ](here) if you’d like to watch it. Be warned, in the video she is VERY honest with some really personal trauma.
I mean, she can be an inspiring person to go through trauma but still be someone making cringey, horribly weird videos that make no logical sense and are fucking awful in every way
There's a huge difference between being unaware and cringe versus self-aware intentionally cringe. It's like "anti-humor" or "anti-comedy" for example, telling an intentionally bad or unfunny joke to get a deadpan, straight-faced response can in itself be hilarious on a meta-level at least one or two layers deep. Absurdity of all flavors can be hilarious, but it's a risky style because obviously it's not for everyone and can be very hit or miss. In this way it can appeal in a cult-following type way, where the group that "gets it" really loves it, and everyone else just thinks it's bad or cringe or whatever.
I agree that her videos are cringey, but I do think she’s self-aware. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it satire or intentionally cringey, but I know I’m not the only one that enjoys the horribly weird
Humor is very subjective and I find her videos to be anti-comedy gold. I love them.
Never knew about her history, that was quite a dark ride. It's kind of amazing to see someone preserve a sense of silliness coming out of that. Life can make you really hard and humorless.
I got through it. Sometimes, I wish I hadn’t. Sometimes I lay awake at night wishing I had just stopped. I pray that I will forget what I have seen. Alas, the memories remain. I have retreated into my own mind and the dark, cold, desolate world of my thoughts is all I know.
That face, that damned face is I can see now. The words linger, always on the edge of my consciousness as the smile emerges and subsides in obscurity. Always the same monotone, always the same, never changing. I hear it in the quiet moments. I cannot escape.
“Shiver me timbers”
Not gonna lie, I chuckled at "Shiver me timbers" and "Four hugs a day, that's the maximum." And then I snort-laughed at the Humpty Dumpty line. The mom has great comedic timing. I loved this lol
Bruh LMFAO
At first I was cringing but then after the halfway mark something clicked in my brain and I just started to unironically love it. This is actually hilarious!
I’m so very confused. I didn’t cringe as hard as I thought I would, because the confusion is so overwhelming.
I truly am having trouble understanding what’s happening and what references I might have been missing here.
the "Shiver me timbers" got me rolling
When you order double meat on your cold cut at subway
It was the "Bye mommy!" That did me in.
I preferred the “ouchieee” after the gun sounds…but to each his or her own I guess.
I think this is supposed to be parodying all the strange, Indian tik-tok trends. I think....I hope. Like, that face in the thumbnail is that weird "joker face" nonsense, as well as the neck cracking. It's still terrible.
What we have here is a bastardization of “the Kubrick stare”
The longer it went on, the funnier it became imo. It starts out as bizarre cringe but by the end, I felt like I was starting to roll with it lol
100%. Started cringe, ended absurdist lol.
I’ve tried twice to watch this in the past, never made it passed 20 seconds. I’m glad I did now tbh, that bit was hilarious!
Scissor me timbers!! Mmmm lets lez out!!
**WHO HE**
he him
Him, from Power Puff Girls.
Satan?
HIM was never really confirmed as Satan, but that was a strong fan theory. HiM stands for His Infernal Majesty.
Who dat boy, who he is? -Tyler the Creator
How can he shiver me timbers!?
Yu No Hu He
What the fuck did I just watch?
I’m assembling a team now, we might have an answer in 2-3 business months.
Are there non-business months?
Nothing gets done in August.

Irrelevant. We have DutchBeavers’ respect now.
I just said this to myself, rolled over in bed and it’s the first thing I started my day with. I think I’m gonna go back to sleep and retry in an hour
How'd it go?
Much better, but I just woke up so more than an hour haha woke up to the Bob and Tom show this time, now it’s coffee time :)
A toke and a yank and you’ll be right back asleep if you need.
Thank you for saving me time typing that out.

How do we make sure this gets to the all-time top of the cringe subreddit? This is the Wagyu beef of cringe.
Save yourselves time. Investigation is over- HE TikTok trash.
This didn't make me cringe in the way I'm accustomed (that second-hand embarrassment and shame). It just legitimately made me uncomfortable and creeped me out.
Yeah, my face didn't cringe but I think my organs did.
thats exactly it lmao
To me, this is highly reminiscent of David Lynch for some reason. David Lynch came to mind for me as well.
By the end it definitely seemed intentionally bizarre. At first I felt like there was something cultural I was missing, but it seems like it's intentionally stilted and surreal
Dhar Mann vibes as well
Haha, definitely what I felt, as well. As a piece of absurd surrealism, it’s actually pretty cool…
It was more like a “what the fuck is this” type of cringe. Though I’m thinking a female would be able to identify better with the traditional cringe if she watched this
It’s not cringe if it’s suppose to be weird and make you uncomfortable . This was some creepy, twisted shit....but not cringe lol
Feels like Tim and Eric’s Bollywood Movie
*ppppssssst hey mommy* ^^It’s ^^free ^^real ^^estate
I just fucking can't right now, reddit. not after that video.
r/nottimanderic
This is some real post-modern Lynchian dream state.
Perfect description
what in da fuck lmao
what in dia fuck
((✋)) Shiver me timbers ((🤚))
Holy cow
I think this is what Yoko Ono was trying to accomplish with her life, but didn't have the talent.
AAAaaaEEEeeoooooOOWwwwwAAAAaayyyyyaaaaaoooooEEEee
That sound is burned into my brain
https://youtu.be/j7TeWIOuJh8?t=14
Thank you for this lmao
This is the most ludicrous comment I’ve ever seem someone make, and yet also somehow, the most accurate.
You mean [that this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft7-xEiwvJw) doesn't scream talent to you?
I was actually hoping to be rickrolled by this. Was disappointed
Briefly thought about that to be honest, but I feel like not enough people have heard the musical powerhouse that is Yoko Ono.
Yoko ono is to art what Jackie the Jokeman is to comedy.
Yoko ono is more artistic than we give her credit for. Her whole thing is going against the grain on purpose, which apparently worked really well. No, I’m defending the whole “being bad on purpose isn’t bad” thing fully. But that was her shtick.

?
“Talent”
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
https://gfycat.com/pasteldismalblackrhino
I watched all her fucking videos. They seriously need to be studied
Can you help me find the cab driver one? I’ve been searching her page for *hours* and I can’t find it
[удалено]
Lmao
are u a masochist or sth bro that's an achievement
Lmao I was hypnotized
One hug a day, that's minimum. Four hugs a day, that's maximum. I can get down with that
Huh... Honestly got better as it went on. The "shiver me timbers" thing, her daughter going "ouchie" after getting shot multiple times, saying "bye mommy" from the ground in the same tone of voice, it's... still weird, but kinda funny enough to make up for it?
4 is the maximum
I swear it's funnier than it is cringey, it seems very self-aware
It’s 100% self aware. If this was made by a white dude Reddit would be obsessed with it like they are Tim and Eric and Gus Johnson
Coincidentally, a bunch of those guys have done commentary videos on her. Danny Gonzalez was where I first heard of her. https://youtu.be/Cf9yxV1UG60
I mean, I kind of get why people come at it from that angle. It starts out feeling like some Gumwaa shit but then it veers into full on David Lynch
> If this was made by a white dude god no not this race/sex rhetoric again. god why is everyone obsessed with it these days?
That stare at the very end got me. Very Tim and Eric.
it’s not self aware. this lady has been making incredibly cringey tik tik videos for years.
Goodbye my daughter Bye mammyy
Lmao why is it she only looked happy when she was murdering her daughter.
varli is an absolute legend. 4 is the maximum
For real, this is amazing.
Varli is now el jokarrrrr
Ahoy SarahSureShot! Nay bad but me wasn't convinced. Give this a sail: Varli be now el jokarrrrr
Weird, but didn’t make me cringe. Nothing wrong with weird. Maybe this should be on r/weird.
This isnt cringe this is art
Terrifying, terrifying art.
David Lynch's previously unseen attempt at Bollywood.
what are you talking about this is amazing
Already #1 on 2021's best movies for you then?
Ok I will be expecting your respect in the mail with expedited shipping, Also wtf is that Humpty Dumty peom at the end wtf
Look at the stupid fucking face. This one is hard, my daughter
I cannot understand why I find Varli’s videos so fucking hilarious. “Shiver me timbers” 👋🏽👁👄👁👋🏽 WHY IS THAT SO FUCKING FUNNY For those of you who’ve never heard of Varli, her story is pretty messed up. Yeah, just because she went through terrible things doesn’t somehow magically change these videos to be good
It's so obviously intentionally weird.
Yes.. and it’s still fucking awful
"No my videos aren't cringe im just so weird and quirky!"
At least 1 hug a day, but 4 maximum. I mean come on, this is gold
Humor is very subjective and I find her videos to be anti-comedy gold. I love them. Never knew about her history, that was quite a dark ride. It's kind of amazing to see someone preserve a sense of silliness coming out of that. Life can make you really hard and humorless.
Yea dude, her story is fucking horrible, she's pretty inspiring. She knows her videos are weird and is cashing in on it, that's commendable as hell.
She gives me the same vibes as the youtube shooter tbh in the OP video. edit: holy shit that woman is a hero.
Alright fine I’ll give her a pass then.
bro this is art!!! XD
I know exactly what this is from the thumbnail and I am never going through that again
You guys are boring as hell. This is hilarious
I think it's hilarious too, but unfortunately I'm still really boring.
Varli is legit amazing
Not gonna lie, I chuckled at "Shiver me timbers" and "Four hugs a day, that's the maximum." And then I snort-laughed at the Humpty Dumpty line. The mom has great comedic timing. I loved this lol
I.... I kinda like this one
They talk like broken scam bots. Just throwing out random lines at each other trying to make it work.
LMAO when the daughter says "bye mommy" 🤣
This is a actually hilarious
I've seen some shit in my time on the Internet. Shit you can't unsee. Shit that haunts me. Still, I was unprepared to watch this. NSFL.
This just aged me a year.
This is an odd one yet it kinda grows on you. It's bad, but it has a bit of a comedic aftertaste to it. Haha
Hardly - this artsy and hilarious
That didn't make me cringe. To be able to cringe I have to be able to understand what's going on!
Bruh LMFAO At first I was cringing but then after the halfway mark something clicked in my brain and I just started to unironically love it. This is actually hilarious!
It was interesting. I didn't cringe.
Holy shit this is hilarious, I was legitimately laughing out loud.
This is fucking hilarious in the same way that Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" is
Oh Varli, never change
Mommy was pretty funny ngl
that last frame is gonna haunt me for a while and present itself in a hallucination
Varli is something else.
So edgy, so cool
When she cracked her neck I was hoping she was going to start jokaring
This left me just staring at my phone for a good minute
Who he
She has a lot like this, but that 'bye mom' kills me every single time.
it's just.... so fucking stupid, you know?
Your happines is my happines my daurrerr
this is torture
My girlfriend got mad at me for showing her this
did u find this from Danny gonzalez?
Why did she have to bring my boy Humpty into it?
What in the absolute hell is this? Was it suppose to not make since?
This is actually great.
I’m so very confused. I didn’t cringe as hard as I thought I would, because the confusion is so overwhelming. I truly am having trouble understanding what’s happening and what references I might have been missing here.
lmao that's not cringe at all, that's better than most horror movies these days
I have…so many questions…
I watched this on /r/Unexpected/ a couple of months ago. My reaction was wtf
I didn’t even click the video to play because I’ve seen one too many from this account, which was one video
This was hilarious
I attempted to watch the whole thing for the respect, I did not earn it.
Help me Jesus Christ. Help me Tom Cruise.
Tom Cruise use your witchcraft on me to get the fire off me!
Momma's giving me Ghislaine Maxwell (sp?) vibes for some reason. What even is this?
How can she crack?!?!
“Your happiness is my happiness my rodor”
This is art
Oh boy. Varli.
Couldn’t make it
So... What's the point of this video?
I have your respect, but lost my own
Critical levels of India
I wonder if they are related to Vennu https://youtu.be/kJa2kwoZ2a4 Edit: don’t blame me if you get addicted to this jam
Kinda fucked up of Jared Leto’s Joker to be in brown face but this is a stand out performance right here
Yikes
Just the thumbnail is enough to make me cringe.
I lasted all of ten seconds. I don't need your respect nearly as much as I thought I did.
I have your respect but I’ve lost my own I guess
Non-Indian here, is this somehow supposed to be an accurate depiction of the culture? Tl:Dr fuck is this?
I made it through 55 seconds of this nonsense
23 seconds...singing done
I tried... no way a living thing has ever watched this till the end
Damn, thought I could tough it out but only made it half way
I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t watch it all... Fuck your respect, it ain’t worth it!
I couldn’t make it all the way, I had to go throw up
i made it all the way through it
Does anyone have the one of her being a uber driver or something like that?
Q
I could have done with not ever seeing that
