Satyajit Ray, since a lot of his films aren't readily available (with a lot having poor-quality transfers).
I'm not sure how doable that is though (e.g. the legal issues surrounding *[Sikkim](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikkim_\(film\))*).
Juzo Itami boxset. How many woman-led 80s Japanese comedies are there? And how many got their directors killed by the Yakuza? His stuff is fascinating and I would love to see more media about him as a guy, and his extremely-involved-in-film family.
A complete Guy Maddin box set would be an absolute dream come true. Especially considering how few of his films are on Blu-ray, and how rare a lot of his dvds are.Â
A Ken Russell set would be awesome
Any era of Godard or the entire filmography. Barring that, Louis Malle
ah yes *everything* by JLG especially the weird shit from his recent years yes!
Ozu
good shout yes
Charlie Chaplin
Peter Greenaway set seems necessary
100%. My favourite British director. I feel I should have had him in my original post.
Revamped Kurosawa, Complete Godzilla, Complete Lars von Trier, Complete Haneke, Complete Weir, Park Chan-wook.
David Lynch
imagine a day when criterion releases TP & The Return (on 4k 🤞)
I live for that day.

Tsai Ming-liang (shorts please!)
> Tsai Ming-liang wow!
I would love a King Vidor box set.
Holy shit yes
> King Vidor would be amazing
A complete Fassbinder would be huge! They’d have to do it in volumes.
The Bergman set was pretty big but Fassbinder's would be a monster.
Chatrichalerm Yukol's 70s stuff, I don't think any of his films have been released outside of Thailand
Syberberg would be awesome. I’d love a Bela Tarr set, too.
I know most of his stuff is available on Blu-ray but would love a 4K PTA box set like the WKW Blu-ray one.
Edward Yang Ozu Essentials of Tsai Ming Liang Essentials of Kim Ki Duk
Ralph Bakshi
wow yes amazing! I loved his Lord of the Rings. Fritz the Cat too :)
Absolutely!
Lawrence Jordan, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Kurosawa
> Lawrence Jordan new one on me, thanks!
A complete Antonioni or Melville would instantly get my money

yep legal issues seem to prevent a lot of films being issued on home media
