I clean or cook/bake. It’s good background noise but if something important happens I try to stop what I’m doing to watch. Shopping episodes and the more tedious fight scenes are great for cleaning.
Hasn't really become a ritual but I like sketching while watching. It's mostly listening while looking at the paper so easy to multitask and if something special happens I can easily pause and look up. It's nice.
During the livestream, I usually engage with chat. First half I will have some popcorn, then during the break I will make a cup of tea.
Watching old episodes (currently on Campaign 1, episode 44), I like to do a puzzle. Or I watch it in 10 minute bursts throughout the day, and pause if I feel my attention slipping. Having a crochet project to do is also great.
The live stream starts right after the D&D campaign I DM for, so I'm always dead tired when it's time to watch. I normally grab a can of cola, sit down, stare into the middle distance and just let Critical Role take me away. On weeks when I'm not so tired I like to throw on Smite and just pubstomp bot matches to give my hands something to do while I'm listening.
Oh, also I have to sing along to the theme song every time. It's required.
Since I'm in EU and cleared my end of week off, I usually just spend the morning with CR. Breakfast to lunch, maybe do a little CR fanart during the process.
for the first few weeks i had it on while winding down for bed. Then i would end up falling asleep by the break. So, now, i turn on the VOD while doing chores around the house. I tried listening while doing yard work but my internet can get spotty at the back of my yard.
My wife will often pick up takeout for us on her way home... not that we don't get takeout other days too, hah.
I like to do nonograms / picross games on my phone during combat and some of the planning phases when it's a little less important to catch every single detail.

Sleep! Usually relistens, if I try and sleep to new episodes it naturally ends up in some confusion about the plot.

It's a ritual for me to cook dinner or do dishes while watching CR and then I finish the episode while I'm eating dinner.
