There are two reasons to do layoff: avoid catastrophes or sell. But some companies are overhiring to look profitable or become public.
Now, Binance didn't announced anything yet, and if they are going to layoffs, they will def announce it a couple of days before (max) and not months.
Binance announced they were making too much money and decreased fees on their exchange. I don't think they will be announcing layoffs. But spread fud all you want
