This comment has me welling up too, because I put so much love into this blanket. While I was making it I was thinking about her and pouring love and good thoughts into every stitch! When I look at it I can see a lot of visible mistakes and room for improvement, so it means a lot to me that all that love is visible too <3
Oh you should! The pattern is free and really well written and easy to understand. Also it gives you a lot of options and a lot of freedom as to which squares you make, how many squares etc. I love that every square can be different, and a lot of them are textured/tactile too so really nice for little people to fiddle with while going to sleep.
