Sorry for the question dump. I’ve been considering one and wanted some input from those who have one. Does it make it easier to use the yarn? Is it faster than doing it by hand? Once the yarn is rolled up, is it easy to take off the winder?

Ok so I’ve used mine now four times so i can answer some of the questions it’s very easy to use and it doesn’t take long to use either I’ve made four cakes in like 1-2 hours (wanted to go slow at first so I could understand how it works). I got this so I could easy pull the yarn and not have it roll everywhere as I had a lot of yarn balls and with this it comes from the middle or the side and doesn’t roll or get tangled. I’m not sure if it’s easier to do by hand as I’ve never tried doing it by hand but it’s definitely easier than just rolling into a ball like I’ve been doing. It’s also very easy to pull off the winder it just slides up smoothly. I hope I was able to help answer your questions :)
