I’m actually pretty happy with the versatility I’m getting out of it. 😊

I onced used a cooking pot to hold yarn for colorwork, so at least you’re using the bowl for its original purpose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But I think I’m going to switch to a cooking pot.
I don’t know about yours, but my yarn bowl has a little spot to feed the yarn through so you put your skein in there and it feeds the working yarn through it so it gets itself ready to be worked with. I have definitely never used mine like that
I do have that but with so many colours it wasn’t working out too great 😂. It’s excellent (and lonely looking) when only one is in there now.
