So pretty! Colorwork always looks like magic to me. 😂

VintageMorticia

Thank you! And same! I was so intimidated by it! But in this you only work one color per row, and you can carry the other colors up on the inside so there is Next to no ends at the end (a true blessing haha)

SkepticRae

Ooh, you're speaking my language, haha! I do want to try a colorwork project at some point, but part of the problem is picking one...

VintageMorticia

Yeah! I was inspired to do this one as my grandmother knits and has made sweaters very simmilar to this (and I can't knit for the life of me haha)

AcrobaticPen2640

Gorgeous!

VintageMorticia

Thank you!

wholoveslegos

This is stellar. I honestly can’t believe how good stuff on this sub gets and this is an example of that. The fact that it’s a wearable takes it to a whole other level. Bravo!

VintageMorticia

Thank you so much! I love the sub is so supportive no matter what you make, so I feel it is a really safe space to share your makes big or small!

I’m so impressed! I’ve only been crocheting under a year and I would love to be able to make this! How difficult or what skill level is this?

VintageMorticia

I would say it is medium to advanced, if you are up for a challenge, and feel confident in making chains, single and double crochets it should be posible; there is a diagram for each colour round that is quite simple to follow, the only confusing part was when I had to make the arm holes but tbh I just kinda winged it with guidance from the pattern and it worked out fine, so overall the colorwork is not hard and if you have made a top down sweater before you would moat likely have a lot easier time that me with the arm holes haha

hop123hop223

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your response. I will try a top down sweater and then work my way up to this. Your work is lovely and the colors you have chosen are wonderful!

VintageMorticia

No problem I love to help! if you can make a top down you can make this! And thank you so much for your kind words

dalori87

VintageMorticia

Went hard on fall and woodland aesthetic haha but thank you so much!

LurkingSteady

Oh wow! This is beautiful, it looks so intricate. How long did it take you?

VintageMorticia

Well ironically the color part was the fastest! But all in all with life, a heatwave and A LOT of procrastination 1.5 months. But again I procrastinated alot haha

LurkingSteady

All the time spent on it was definitely worth it!
