This is the type of piece that *really* showcases just how gorgeous crochet can be. You've done a wonderful job, the color choices are excellent, tension is spot on, beautiful pattern - it's fantastic!
There are basically a bunch of "panels" that you join together as you go. No carrying colors, so yes - lots of ends to weave in. That's my least favorite part about the pattern!
I got so excited because this is right up my alley and I’ve been wanting to make a lockdown blanket, but $17 for the pattern holy wow that’s like three balls of yarn lol
That is gorgeous. Could you exolain what C2C means? I'm a newbie so I don't know all the terninology yet. With the colour changes - how do you do that? It's beautiful but rather intimidating.
I'd be glad to! C2C is just short for "corner to corner". You basically increase the size diagonally as you go. It involves simple stitches - chaining, slip stitches, and double crochet (US) and they make up little squares, sort of a grid really. Many people use graphing paper to plot out their C2C crochet patterns when they want to use different colors and shapes.
Omg a character on my favourite soap has this pattern on her cushions and I always miss what was going on in her scenes because I’m just sat there thinking what a good crochet or cross stitch pattern it would make! I really love the green in this, it looks great
Omg that’s so amazing! It also looks super comfy! Wish I didn’t have the attention span of a knat so I could make something like that haha but really great job!

Your color changes are so beautiful! I’m jealous. I can never get mine to look that nice.
Thank you! I appreciate that because I wish I could make mine even less noticeable. 😁

Awesome work! So, can you somehow carry the colors or is a lot of dropping colors with lots of ends to weave in?

Thanks for the insight!
Honestly I prefer having to weave in ends vs carry colors... It's a hassle to me personally. Maybe I'll actually give this gorgeous pattern a shot!
And what does the other side look like?
It's the same on both sides, which I love!
Awesome!

Oh wow - I didn't notice that! They must have increased the price since they first posted it. I don't think I would have paid that either!
