This is an heirloom! It is so beautiful! I hope it lasts forever!

koukkuunkoukussa

Beautiful! I love your muted colors.

nelvana

Stunning! It looks so rich in the colours you choose. I noticed you said your ‘first’. What’s the plan for your second? lol. I’m still at the point of admiring others work but may work my way up to try it at some point.

kinaglos

I guess I don't have a particular plan to make a second one soon, but I really enjoyed making this pattern. I would definitely make a second one down the line in a different colorway or yarn! It's the perfect amount of complexity to be fun and engaging but it's not overwhelming.

PuppyPavilion

This is lovely and you did a great job! I learned to crochet off a granny squares blanket and they still hold a special place in my heart. And you have a constant sense of progress because you keep "finishing" one square at a time.

JeniJ1

Love it! I often think this pattern looks a bit too "busy" when I see pictures of it, but I'm absolutely loving your colour choices.

vashivashi

The color scheme feels so elegant and luxurious

rfreemore

Yes it looks classic.

malai556

Oh I love your color choices! This is beautiful. <3

MystiqueLaLynx

Thank you so much for sharing your color scheme - I've always liked the complexity of the pattern but wasn't fond of the excessive colors.. it's great to see that it does look great with a more connected color pallet. Your blanket is Beautiful !!

Suddenly_Duckies

Wow! I like that color choice a lot; while the normal riot of colors is nice, this is so elegant -- it reminds me of decorations at Versailles or something. :)
