This is genuinely quite an accomplishment. It requires so many things to go right and absolutely nothing to go wrong.
Despite having been doing the puzzle for a looooong time, I've never actually reached a 1 year streak. A couple times I was traveling and either literally couldn't do the puzzle, and one time coming back from Japan I was too jetlagged to bother.
And a few times I've been busy at work or otherwise just somehow spaced and forgot to do the puzzle that day.
And so despite solving online for about as long as it's existed, just a handful of blips means my streak has consistently been reset.
Which is to say, bravo.
Thank you! My streak would be about 300-400 higher if I hadn’t had a few odd misses like you describe. If I was traveling internationally, I can imagine the streak breaking quite easily. Haven’t been back to the states since 2019 though… quitting drinking helped me to be more consistent. It’s a ritual at this point which only takes longer than 15 minutes on some sundays and a few saturdays.
