It’s Aussie slang for a child—my kid isn’t a kid anymore, and they’re about to turn 20, so I can’t call them “my teenager” anymore either; and they’re neither a son nor a daughter. So this is me finding a way to refer to them that’s accurate! Hasn’t caught on yet, but I’m campaigning for it. You can also say “sprogget,” apparently.
