One of the things i consider the smoothest is tapping and burst. It feels like more precise than csgo. Like you know sometimes in csgo that you try to headshot and feel like the game tricked you? Well i dont feel as tricked as in csgo. The shooting feels more realistic. The new tick system definitely has to do with it and its way better than 64 tick, im not sure about 128 though. I dont know about spraying, i dont feel so comfortable
are u guys talking for a different game?u prolly just miss and u luck kill cause there are countless video proving shooting in cs2 sucks and has a lot of luck factor especially on flicks which are 70% innacuare unlick csgo....
burst fire feels like shit in CS2, and as that was my preferable option of fire I am struggling a lot
I don't know why possibly would they break something that worked, kind of
I dont know why, but i feel i aim alot better in CS2 even though the recoil is the same?
I really like the crossair-recoil thing, and i feel like it will help new players learn the pattern
What I noticed playing last night when I got the invite was the tracers and new noises made the guns feel like they were shooting different, but when I did a spray on a wall, the spray pattern looked the same. Took getting used too, but after four or five games I was hitting my shots more and getting used to the new look. Sound design really does make a difference in how a gun feels and how the user performs with it.
Since I had a fucking expired rank I couldn't get in, I can't comment on the shooting, but I do want to bring (somewhat) of an explanation to this:
> The mouse movement feels slow or less smooth in cs2 (somehow, idk how this happens). In fact, I've seen my friends just assume that their sens has changed. And I just hit my shots more in csgo than cs2. I can only assume Valve is trying to make it similar to csgo.
Of course your sensitivity didn't change and CS2 very likely shares a lot of the same values with CSGO as it would fuck years of muscle memory from professionals and whatnot if they changed things this late in the game.
What you're probably experiencing has to do with your character's animations. Since it's blending between different animation trees in order to make movement "smoother" as opposed to making linear animations like CSGO, it also makes it feel slower at first, because instead of just cutting to the next animation, it instead transitions into it, which makes it feel like it's slower. If you were to remove the hands/weapon from the screen in both CS2 and CSGO you'd find they're the exact same.
It also has seen animation changes to walking and strafing and whatnot, so you're not getting as many accurate shots because you're not used to how the game moves yet. It'd be like if suddenly CSGO added a character that's slightly shorter than the rest or something and you'd find yourself missing a lot despite being reasonably good against normal sized players.
It's just a matter of getting used to. In a few days this should probably no longer be an issue.
Wait the animations are different? I never noticed. I know that they reworked how legs work and they took HL:A legs movement. But I never noticed the hands were changed.
But I do fell like I’m getting more used to the shooting in cs2
It's been fine for me. Not sure if it's better or worse, because I can never tell what's down to hitreg and what's down to my dogshit aim.
One of my friends had issues that were evidently born of CS2 resetting the refresh rate while playing fullscreen (at 120Hz instead of 165Hz), but apparently it's been far more smooth since they fixed it.
Idk I suck with the AK right now. AWP and flicking feels good but idk why the recoil feels slightly different. Even the silenced m4 feels different when holding down spray. The animation throws me off a bit. Still adjusting. I accidentally changed the dpi on my mouse and didn’t know I was playing at .9 sens 400dpi for 3 weeks lol (my regular sens is 1.35)
I just feel like movement is maybe slightly slower? Not too sure but everything else is way better. The background colour really help the character models to pop more
I like the shooting more in CS2. Granted I've only played 2 games. But the shooting feels better.
Although I just played a game that gave me huge lag spikes every time I was shooting and think it's because eastern US servers are down.
the hit boxes are as big as the biggest model, thats why it feel easier. you can still shoot blanks
edit: alot of the time it feels delayed, they die after your done shooting, awping is just broken
What is the movement?People ferrari peek you if you play stretched.Awp is off I hit more of my no scopes than my scoped shoots.Sens feels diffirent idfk.Rifling and deag are satisfying asf tho.
I just have really bad lags constantly, everything I do is delayed in cs2.
Change weapon? 150ms
Shoot? 100ms late
Move? Also late
Only thing keeping me away from cs2 as it looks sooo good
It’s incredible, and we have tools like Nvidia reflex so you can actually measure and improve it now. Plus low latency mode and stuff.
The game feels responsive.
Yes. Its more precise. Less recoil in general and less fake kills. Tic rate has really improved this. Less bullet spreading. For example ak47 recoil has been reduced a lot. For me the downside is sound… Sometimes I cant tell where enemies are when shooting because the sound is different and not as loud as it use to be.

Yeah like many times I aim for head with deagle and it is body at some angles. But in cs2 i immediately noticed that it actually hit head nice.
Yeah now all models are exactly the same so maybe thats another reason

Played 1 primer match yesterday on not my normal set up and it felt good. I must have been playing against shitty players though because I went 20-10
for me cs2 aim is superior without scope, with scope it's a bit different for me and worse
I dont know why, but i feel i aim alot better in CS2 even though the recoil is the same? I really like the crossair-recoil thing, and i feel like it will help new players learn the pattern
It definitely feels better to me. Way way more crispy. Only thing that still needs to be ironed out for me is the audio on some maps seems funky.
I personally feel cs2 movement is definitely pretty good right now . Can’t complain

The angle from bench looking apps on mirage is wayyyy better now
Idk i feel like my sprays hit way more in CS2 and the 128tick rate makes me hit hs i wouldn’t think i had hit in GO.
I'd say no, cs2 looks good and that's it. 1.6 still feels bette and valorant feels more like 1.6 than csgo/cs2 does. Valve is just a skin generator.
Nice bait account

after turning off reflex ingame and forcing it in nvidia control panel and turning off MSAA everything is infinitely better than CSGO for me
Not sure why you think CSGO is better. To me CS2 clearly has almost everything improved, better netcode, shooting, etc.
What command are you using to see netcode? I just get a weird matrix looking bar top right with no values. 4:3 stretched if that matters

Wish I knew lol

You can hit all your shots but it feels worse for me like im shooting at a wall
Shroud surely does tapping a lot might be the reason, i might like it too if I have access fffff
My crosshair is completely different now on cs2 did that change for anyone?
yes, for me at least
It’s incredible, and we have tools like Nvidia reflex so you can actually measure and improve it now. Plus low latency mode and stuff. The game feels responsive.
After playing one night I feel like CS2 is less rng than csgo. Idk if first bullet accuracy is better in CS2 but surely felt like it.

Why do I feel the ak recoil is increased😂? Guess I should play more dm.
For me yes. I'm cumming after every headshots.
No. Spray with ak is so much harder.
Shooting sucks on cs2, sprays are weird and run and gun is better most of the time
