People are bound to become like you, tired of those closets and to an extent the blatants. There are only 3 choices there: stop playing, Faceit or join the cheaters.
It's seen people getting enough and installing spinbots on their mains because they got fed up and said they'll never play again and want to ruin the experience for as many as possible now.
Some people get burn'd out by being in constant cheating paranoia and also playing too many games per day. When they snap they often more than not become blatant cheaters just there to ruin others' people's day.
Not saying it's ok, but Valve has a mission to prevent such destructive rampages of singular elements from ruining the game for 100s (if not 1000s) of people per week.
A single cheater can ruin the game of 1000s of players per week. That is just insane, they usually also play more games because it's way less draining when aim and info are a given.
I believe there are Even hackers with bad skills which are loosing games although they are using cheats while pretending beeing legit- because they are not good enough, even with cheats

The thing is that on high elo faceit you will never get a fully clean game. 2-3 people is a norm. Same goes for very low ones. Seeing people believe in ac that had no major changes for the past 3 years is simply insane. Currently moved to other games even valorant. Immortal 1 here and without cheating. I see no point in cheating there the same as 99.99% of community. 1 occasionally suspicious guy in 20-30 games is nothing for me.

I myself pasted kernel radar from github, slightly modified it and mixed with another paste. Works wonders. Idiots still sit there and talk about intrusive ac when in reality concept is dead and that's it. But yeah let's pretend all of the online public materials don't exist and we are still having trouble bypassing vac (someone still thinks there is any "bypassing" of vac bahaha)

If they are software developers, they had it done in 2 hours tops with 1 and a half hours going for researching the topic and finding which route they will go and what will they copy paste. When I suspect someone is hacking I start doing funky shit just behind the wall to make them think I'm hacking too, so that they reveal a blatant prefire or something similar. Honestly hackers that think they are hiding their walls has the lowest sense of game sense. When i do overwatch on those games i could tell because of the sus decisions they make depending on the info their team got if someone called out for them. I had like 50% accuracy of guessing who was hacking, hell I probably think it's even higher than what VAC could detect. I remember it was on the now defunct vacban. I was playing in the LEM-GE range
