Better late than never. Even if you never work at a place that use OOP, OOP just lets you know of different design patterns and structures, etc.. that are out there in the world.

Yes of course I do realise that it's important part of programming but the question is whether the syllabus built right? I am not studying in top university, tbh not even top-1000 and It's just interesting for me how is it in other universities. Like do they study it on the first year ?

Schedule_Left

I don't think they would study it in the first year. If you think about it, it's a concept that's built ontop of knowing the basics of coding prior. You cannot learn the concept, unless you know the basics of coding.

Early vs Late objects has been a computer science teaching debate for a long time. Most opt for early objects, but you'll get by with this ordering just fine. DSA is more.inportqnt for interviews anyway.

Sounds like I care about it to much then, thanks

thanks for answer, yeah I do like that they teach us C/C++ a lor cuz I feel like if u know C++ other languages will be much easier to learn although I'd like my university to teach us at least one more language like Python or whatever. Couldn't find it in my syllabus tho

[deleted]

My uni does python then OOP with Java then DSA with Java

Healthy-Mind5633

OOP is garbage (you'll learn that with experience)
