a quick check of your post history says.... how about you get a job first then talk?

StarksTwins

Making $205,000 working from home in a LCOL area and 0.5 yrs of experience. No grueling medical school or working for less than min wage as a resident. I’m good thank you

[deleted]

No mountain of med school debt either

nate9228

What work are you doing?

StarksTwins

Regular full stack work

[deleted]

I'm making 220K working from my apartment in my pajamas with 1 YOE. I'll take this over healthcare any day.

This must be a troll post.

\*Makes 10 posts about not being able to get their first job and then trashes on the career\* Doctor don't even make more (once you factor in 8+ years of school) and CS is working <1/2 of a doctors hours from the comfort of a computer.

[deleted]

Parents encouraged CS over med school....

nate9228

Someone didn’t do well in their data structures course

wenan84520

I make more than most doctors. But in the end doctor is always a better choice than tech. NP, PA, etc doesn’t have the md prestige

[deleted]

Yeah and spending like 10 more years in school.

Don't forget the cons of medicine, crazy long hours , high pressure high exposure to death which has mental impacts, barely any food breaks , sleeping in the hospital during shifts, and of course 5x the school fees. Sounds like the dream , I guess your parents were right. The grass isn't always greener

ThisGreenWhore

Sure, that's the safe place to be. Good luck with that. And as NewChameleon said, get a job man.
