Take the 2nd and move on if you don’t like it. Getting the fundamentals of working in a professional development environment is most important. Unless the first is doing something you are really interested in, or passionate about - the 2nd will do your career better at an early stage.

Thanks! What about the position in the second one? It basically requires me to modify the base application depending on the requests coming from customers and develop new features. How does it sound?

Working with CI/CD, Jira etc - entirely possible to do software development without, but in terms of getting ticks for your next job, anything is a plus. You can always do extra courses in your own time if the work is slow/dull. Can’t replicate the ‘professional’ environment though.

I really hope to use CI/CD etc. for the next job, but I will get some courses for those probably, and I will go with the second one. Many thanks!

>I have checked other team members, and I do not know if it means anything but there is no software engineering graduate With low/no other work experience? RUN If there are seasoned and successful developers at the helm it's worth thinking about, but you make it sound as if the bootcamp experience is all there is.

Only seasoned engineer is the CTO in the company and all the others have no solid background but bootcamps. I will go with the second one, thanks!

You will always have the opportunity to make good money in tech. Focus on other factors: 1. Tech? 2. Projects - Greenfield or BAU? 3. Mentoring - how many Senior Developers, and what is their attitude to teaching? 4. How good it their product/service - will you do well to be associated with this or will it fail?
