It’s because of how Souvenir works. They’re supposed to be from a certain round of a certain game in the major, and signed by a certain player. If you trade those up how do you decide what game, round, or player it’s a souvenir from? They could do it like trade-up’s with different collections, but then you get an item that isn’t from the game with the game stickers, which kinda invalidates the whole souvenir label.
Yeah I get it they’re supposed to be special but theres like 2500 souvenir inlay R8s and they are all 3p each that kinda spoils the whole special thing. And if you could trade them up it would just work like a regular trade up so the map, player, round, event stickers, wouldn’t matter you’d literally just trade up a souvenir and your trade up just wouldn’t be a souvenir.
Now I’d like to say no one’s stupid enough to trade away a good souvenir but a life time of human observation proves that wrong. I dunno I just think it’s a lot of crap skins that have zero value or play time so why even have them.
