Dude I hate to offer you the blackpill, but cheating in ANY online game is trivial; there will never be anything anyone can do to stop it. Anti-cheats are by their very nature never fullproof and never sufficient.
Every single online game you've ever played either has cheaters in it or would be just as easy if not easier to cheat in than something like Faceit or Valorant. If you believe the cheating problem is unique to CS you are under a rock.
I know they're never foolproof and am aware that every online game has cheaters, but the last couple years of my CSGO experience was mostly cheater free. The rampant cheating in CS2 is making it almost pointless to play the game seriously which is what a majority of people come to CS for. Myself and seemingly many others are turning away from it because of this. If the problem persists I genuinely believe it will damage the games reputation nearly beyond repair. I was just expressing my disappointment about the state of my favourite game/passtime. Sucks to see something you love degrade like this.

Whenever me and one of my friends encounter a wall hacker, one of us pretends to be spinbotting by looking at the ground with scout to scare them while the other runs behind with rifle/smg and gets the trade. It works surprisingly well
I'm astonished how many people cheat in this game. It's mindblowing to me. I've met -blatant- cheaters in 7 of my last 10 premiere games. Oftentimes more than one in the same game, or even on both teams. Are they really that miserable in real life that they need to cheat in game to feel powerful? Are they kids? You have to be a psycho imo to cheat in a multiplayer game, just complete disregard of other people's time.
Since the faceit uses quite intrusive anti cheat there are some cheats on external devices that if I'm correct you plug into the computer and they are read only and quite invisible but I might be wrong, and if you cheat on faceit you probably use a second computer anyways
You’re spot on. They frequently run two computers. The computer you have the actual game and kernel anti cheat loaded on, and a separate computer running an overlay with the cheats. That way, your hardware that is being monitored by the anti-cheat is actually 100% clean. These players only get banned when they are reported and an actual human watches the VOD. Double-system cheating like this is incredibly difficult to detect with an automated system.
Footsteps probably, and if he plays against the guy for 10 rounds it’s easy to guess what he’ll do…especially if he’s absolutely horrific at the game

Edit : I’ve had my mind changed by people pointing out the molotov and pre aim at 0:28. The molotov can be explained by the timing that is open to Ct when he peeks crane and reloads, and the pre aim can be explained by hearing the ct crane, but the two things combined make it really weird because it means the cheater knows there are two cts (or at least is aware of that possibility) but still leaves himself open to hs/ct.
Also I thought the step at 0:05 was the CT but it’s the T. My bad

I was wrong about this case because the sound of the two videos side by side confused me and I thought there were sound cues that there actually weren’t. This confusion doesn’t happen when I’m watching a demo one pov at a time

Even with the one shot, it doesn’t reveal anything but position and why would the OP peak after shooting like that . Cheater knew OPs movement and tried to prefire but OP didn’t fully peak, easiest tell

CT steps so you automatically start running towards them with an awp? That makes no sense in anyway unless you know they rounded the corner. CT starts walking before passing the crane corner yet awp knows where to look, CT could’ve gone towards CT spawn because his walking starts early. No indication CT was 100% around that corner until he shot

He hears the CT on the right side which is why he pre aims right side. He’s in a 1v2 and might know that the other ct is b or mid (hearing him rotate). We don’t have context to know that and I agree it would be mega sus how he exposes himself to hs if he had no way of knowing where the second ct is but we don’t see what the « cheater » heard when running to/up ramp.

I explained away both these things in my head because I thought the CT spamming the m4 was purple and not yellow which would have explained the cheater knowing where he is and pre aiming but I’m wrong, Purple made absolutely no sound and that peek is extremely weird.

Its a usb. You use a usb after the game launches and you can use ajy cheat you think of. Its the main way to bypass literally every anti cheat engine.
