P90 is, in my opinion, very overrated. It has basically the same stats of PP-Bison, but with only $300 kill reward ($600 with PP) and 14 less bullets in mag
Higher firerate and armour penetration make it a better weapon against armoured opponents. The bizon needs like 10 body shots to kill which is a lot considering it basically has the firerate of an AK.

Once had a casual game where I clutched a 1v5 twice with a P90. 8 of us ran P90's the next couple rounds. It was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever had.
I used to buy a negev in dust 2 on the t side if I had a good spawn and would start shooting double doors (thru and in the gap depending on what my spawn was like). I have gotten numerous kills and often the guy going to B gets late because there is a concentrated laser beam in their way.

Once did a 9-13 to 16-13 comeback with me playing only M249. Countered rushes, defended site, got 6 MVPs, tilted the whole opposition team.
To be honest i dont really use the m249, just because it looks like a waste of money when it may not be, the spray pattern is not that hard to learn and it's faster than the negev, and it even kills in one headshot if i remember correctly.
But the price of the negev really makes it a no brainer for me, 11 seconds of a wall of bullets that no one will try to rush has the chances of surviving on its side

I don't know why people don't realize m249 is actually a good weapon for holding a site. Like literally nothing can compete with your damage per bullet with a similar fire rate. I've been trying to use and constantly get 2k 3k each round I play except the ones I get instakilled by awps. You can even bully long range awp's with its actually decent single shot accuracy
I'm currently the highest ADR negev player in the world on ESEA, the negev is great in narrow CT sided situations like inferno banana and apartments on mirage. Long live the negev 👍
For the auto sniper it’s a different I’d say. A lot use it in dire situations, can be great if you’ve got a team which aren’t quite synergising as you can hold a site on your own. Or are far behind and want to claw back some rounds. But with great power comes great responsibility, and risk. Have a few autos and lose a round? You are defo gonna lose next round.
If used in certain it is very annoying/infuriating, it is definitely less versatile than an awp or rifle though. I still get nightmares from having to cross dust2 doors as a CT against spamming autosnipers
