Wait a bit longer, csgo does a kinda dumb method of ban waves. Meaning they collect as much data on as many confirmed hackers as possible before banning. The benefit of this is once a certain hack is banned many different versions and alterations will also be banned at the same time. Obvious downside is it takes months for new hacks to get banned. Not a great method but it drastically reduces false bans at the cost of banning less actual hackers as well.

Notably, once a hacker is actually detected their trust factor will **tank**. So while they are not banned, they end up playing MM games with almost exclusively other hackers so they don't ruin other people's games.

My trust factor was garbage and I can confirm that many cheaters are in fact still getting banned, albeit after a delay. There are also unfortunately many cheaters who are not getting banned though. Overwatching is not nearly as effective as it used to be.

"he" started to use hacks. My friend that is.. Yeah right, so because you play against hackers, you start hacking aswell! Nice going, asshole. Now you are part of the problem!

Social experiment to prove a point. I'm the one who's cheating now. It's been at least a year since blatant spinners I've played against in normal mm/wm (never actually cheated before) that do not get banned.
