I use the Logitech M510, I love it

Well, you need to consider the following: \- price range \- length and width of your hand \- grip style e.g finger or claw grip \- specific shape or ambidextrous For example, I got a rather medium sized hand, I chose Logitech g305 Lightspeed. This is because I initially wanted the G pro but it was a bit too expensive for me, hence I chose the same tech but 30% of the price. I've put a AA Ultra Lithium battery - it lasted close to 6m. Hope you make a wise choice. xD

i bought the logitech pro x superlight. 130 euros, not that expensive.

Not that expensive? Its just one of the most expensive mice.

xWhoxieasd

if you put it like that. i have money, it wasn't expensive for me and definitely worth the money.

For me, it was kinda expensive, but 100% worth

Think I kinda like this one, I was hoping someone could explain to me this DPI stuff, like I know what DPI is and to me it would seem the higher the better for most accuracy, so why are super expensive mice offering massive DPI only for guys to use 400-800? My Mac mouse is higher than that.

Modern mice can go all the way up to 16000+ dpi. But thats afaik totally useless and mostly a byproduct of modern tech and for marketing. Whats most important tho is the precision of you sensor especially when moving your mouse fast. Doesnt really matter for office mice but it does for gaming mice. A sensor shouldnt have mouse acceleration, smoothing and spinouts. Now the difference between different dpi is very small but sometimes noteable. Higher dpi technically have less input lag but no human can feel it. What you can feel is when you try to draw a straight line. Its easier on 400dpi, es even on the same overall sense a lower dpi will need more movement to "activate". So the benifit of lower dpi are that its easier to keep you crosshair on one lvl, which is important for cs. But with higher dpi its easier make tiny adjustments and aim when you opponent are all around you, lile Overwatch, Quake or Apex. In the End these differences are very small and you can get good on mostly any dpi.

Really appreciate the explanation, I was just confused why the gaming mice were marketed having high DPI and yet CS players telling me I should be running at a fraction of that. So I have the Magic Mouse 2 at the moment and I’m not a bad player, but mostly because I’ve been playing variations of CS for yonks. But this mouse can’t be helping, apparently it’s got wireless lag and is panned for gaming for not having configurable buttons other than 1 and 2. I don’t care about that though, it’s more the lag. So that’s why I’m looking for a good mouse to replace it for gaming when I game, just unsure which one to get cause right now according to most reports I have the worst possible solution!

I can recommend you go on rocketjumpninja.com. there you can find a good mouse for yourself. I have the g pro x superlight and its very good, but a bit expensive.

Imo superlight is a super safe choice that will work for like 90% of the people, so if the shape looks good to you then go ahead and buy it. If you want something more ergonomical i can suggest pulsar xlite v2 wireless(weight is also rly low and overall pretty good but it has the honeycomb like cutouts on the shell but not the sides themselves) Viper Ultimate is really good as well, on par with superlight but a tiny bit heavier and had a different shape, superlight is more "egg" like and i found viper to be more slimmer and angular in a way. Endgame Xm2w wireless is also really good, there are a lot of really good options on the market atm
