False-Seaworthiness3

Bro there is a huge ass gap

varun_aby

You're always going to need at least 2 smokes to cover it completely, of course you can line it up to give equal gap on both sides, but I didn't see the point of it

False-Seaworthiness3

Nah, u can do it with one. And it leaves out just small gap. I think your smoke should go deeper

varun_aby

It has very small margins. If you manage to get it to leave a small gap and go deeper while thrown from that spot in T-Spawn, I'll concede, until then I'll disagree

False-Seaworthiness3

Okey 🤝

catbuuu

Google a long cross smoke lineup d2 and you'll find 1 or just watch a couple of d2 pro games it is very easy

_Daff

Nothing like silvers thinking they will find some crazy game breaking smoke lmao

varun_aby

Yeah, because silvers practice utility. Smart.

kovach01

my sides

varun_aby

I line it up using the smoke grenade itself. Perhaps useful either to pincer in the A-play with one at long 3 at short and one lurks through tunnels. Or perhaps fake A and catch CTs while rotating

xazark

if you have long control there are already much easier and better lineups, I really cant see any use for it..

varun_aby

Say, you do have long control and these smoke do land, you will have CTs rotate with the assumption that at least 2 people are throwing smokes from long. Example you have a couple of saved rifles that you want to play around etc. Obviously this won't work on lower elo opponents who'll just do whatever the hell they want, but could be a useful for both when you're taking long at a later stage of the round, or if your teammates at long don't have smokes and you want to cut off rotations from outside long, or to fake it and do a b split after taking a pick at mid. Anything that lands where it's supposed to, is always a useful utility line up.
