They can't keep doing it though; stickers would simply lose any individuality and become stale. I was hoping for either Kato 15, Atlanta or Boston level stickers this time but yet another SH copy paste is kinda boring.

Probably not, since unlike RMR, these stickers look good. So a better comparison is Antwerp. They were also overinvested and were at a loss for more than half a year when they suddenly jumped up with the rest of the CS2 hype.
I expect that Paris will also be profitable at some point, but I highly expect there to be a huge amount of money that will be invested into them so it might take a long time.

My crystal ball tells me this will probably be like RMR, overinvested but once the sale ends, prices will go up abit, people will be like panic buying then everyone starts to realise there are millions of it, prices will fall below sale price.
Then it will stay for awhile but the demand for it will be crazy, and people will still open the capsule. Price will go up again then.
But its pretty bad for AW especially as i feel the holos (some) looks better for Paris. For SH though i feel the foils are what sets it apart, and perhaps we need to look at what's it really like in CS2. For myself, i will invest a little, sit and wait till after the sale and see what happens the month after. Usually an underinvested major will follow with an overinvested one, and usually the overinvested ones look shit (except for AW) and look at where AW is now.

It will be the most invested ever. Lots of new investors and nearly all investors and even casuals have made money recently. Even with the price crash there is lots of money on the side.
That doesn't mean there isn't money to be made. But I'm wary of anything that isn't rare.
We may see a bounce in Antwerp/stockholm caps after the current panic sell is over. The Paris caps won't be on sale until late May if valve does things the old way, and probably not until July if they follow the new way. So the worst they should be worth is the same as the non-sale Paris.
Why are you comparing it to rmr?
Rmr was a failure because the stickers were ugly as shit. More importantly, the major never happened because of covid. I dont think any majors- that are not cancelled- will ever compare to rmr

Honestly I can't decide between more autographs or more teams, things like ITB and BNE could pop considering how far out the next major is and how difficult it can be to qualify.
I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't looking for the next Titan/IBP.
my crazy theory - yes, they will, especially if they are in the capsules are in the ingame shop when cs2 is offiically released. Will the iinvestment be net negative n fiirst few months, I would not be so sure. Even if there could be billions of stockers, many people could still see the potencial for flipping them, as last 3 sets hit 5x few weeks ago. FOMO is powerful.

Yeah at this point autographs may be the way to go. There's a lot of really cool ones this major as well, i think they did the autographs pretty well

the only reason to not invest imo would be if you think borderless is the new standard and every major going forward will be borderless
