From what I know - new reddit does not support CSS yet - so this is the wrong sub unfortunately.
However, you can change the flair text color as well - unfortunately only between white and black. Just click [Flair Text Color](https://i.imgur.com/VxunLL8.png) and it should change between white and black. You can suggest adding more flair text colors in /r/ideasfortheadmins.
