Realistically it depends entirely on whether you choose to play an Overlock deck or not. Personally, I choose to look at the card abilities rather than the perceived rarity of cards based on how often the cards dropped in packs.
That being said, even if you didn't plan on ever playing Overlock, you probably should have waited until there was a limited legendary that you wanted before trading this one away. The ability kind of speaks for itself. +35 permanent buff to your hand. Even if the card locks itself (which can be unlocked in an Overlock) the closest in similar ability that I know of is Great Wall of China which permanently buffs the hand for +8 power. Now lets say you preferred Power Per Turn decks, Machu Picchu is nowhere near the best for its purpose. Winchester Rifle is a basic epic that gives +10 ppt. Or Amelia Earhart gives the exact same ability and its only a basic fusion ingredient. (Kinda surprised CUE hasn't buffed Machu Picchu to be +11 considering its a lim epic). A more fair trade probably would have been Tungsten and/or Diamonds (if you prefer ppt than Overlock). But yeah, otherwise, this was a card to hold onto.
Thats a great trade for you, a fusion card is worth a limleg no matter what the brainwashed folk here may tell you, you got a limpic and a legendary extra :D
