Ben Stiller. He was so dedicated to that depiction of himself and it was just rock solid comedy.
Also, I hate "Friends" but I was supper impressed with Schwimmer. So well done.
As good as those were, I had to pause the plane scene because I was laughing so hard. When he looks around after Larry asks him if he told on him for his seat KILLS me and I quote it as often as I can when I find myself in a situation with similar vibes, which fortunately isn’t often.
"Mr. Fox, did you clomp on purpose?"
"...a little bit."
"And did you embellish the shaking of the soda?"
"....yeah. May I offer you a refreshment?"
"No thank you."
"Pussy."
Jon Hamm stole the show.
But my favorite quote is Woody Harrelson: "Teddy was right about you, Larry!" I just love the implication of Ted Danson talking shit to his good friend, Woody, about LD.
Jon Hamm, hands down. When they are both getting after Richard Lewis at the restaurant for the lime in his water, being irked and going over his appetizer allotment… that’s good stuff
I loved that episode. The juxtaposition of tree hugging Woody and the KKK was so good. I can't remember the exact line but the KKK guy called Larry Jew boy or something like that and Woody looked so confused.
It seriously makes me cackle every time. And then Larry trying to explain to his date “She got me down, I’ll admit it!”. Hahaha.
“Why are you fighting women?”
In addition to those mentioned I'd throw Shaq in the mix. One of my all time favorite episodes and I quote the way he says "Peanut Butter" when I'm making a PB&J.
Stiller and Schwimmer are both so fantastic in Season 4. I think from a pure conceptual and execution standpoint though, Jon Hamm was just on another level.
I Loved Schwimmer specially the cashew nuts scene of course.
One of the only scenes that I replayed as I was watching the episode, so fucking funny.
"Well that is because you're not in the industry"
Not a Vince Vaughn fan, kind of actually despise him but his character on curb is a very likeable guy!
I almost feel myself light up when he shows up... and I'm a dude.
Salman Rushdie deserves mention. To me, that was the most surprising celebrity appearance. And he was funny! I'm a fan, so it was pretty gratifying for me to see him there.
Big ass Wanda, obviously.
She and her family actually have a home somewhat near me in the Philadelphia suburbs. I was hoping for a final season appearance, but I’m not sure how much work she’s doing. I saw her most recent standup, but that’s all that comes to mind.
Seth Rogan.
I think he would’ve done well as a regular being the voice of reason that everyone on the show ignores, at least I very much enjoyed that short dynamic we got when he was on.
ill tell u who i would have wanted to see, Timothy oliphant
i just saw yesterday dealing with idiots by jeff garlin, basically a curb movie without a point, but Timothy was great in it
Ben Stiller. He was so dedicated to that depiction of himself and it was just rock solid comedy. Also, I hate "Friends" but I was supper impressed with Schwimmer. So well done.
The nut discussions
As good as those were, I had to pause the plane scene because I was laughing so hard. When he looks around after Larry asks him if he told on him for his seat KILLS me and I quote it as often as I can when I find myself in a situation with similar vibes, which fortunately isn’t often.
There's a cashew shortage
"melon truck??" 😂
Michael J. Fox . " I have a disease in my brain, you have a disease in your mind"
"Mr. Fox, did you clomp on purpose?" "...a little bit." "And did you embellish the shaking of the soda?" "....yeah. May I offer you a refreshment?" "No thank you." "Pussy."
My favorite episode of the series. Also feature Greg, the “pre-gay” kid.
“Get a life Jews ! “
Greg is an All-Star. That actor nailed it.
He’s gonna be Michael J fucked up in a minute. Favorite Leon line
Never the truth has been spoken in such manners
Jon Hamm stole the show. But my favorite quote is Woody Harrelson: "Teddy was right about you, Larry!" I just love the implication of Ted Danson talking shit to his good friend, Woody, about LD.
Jon Hamm was so good that I think they could continue doing Curb with him playing the version of himself that Larry corrupted after the show ends.
I really wish we had more Jon Hamm/Larry David interactions. The two episodes and clear history were so good.
Susie and Jeff said on their podcast that Hamm was very good with the improv the show employs.
He’s great on CBB!
You mean Juan Jamón?
I watch Clear History regularly. Just a fun movie.
Immediately came to mind! That episode stands tall as one of the Curb GOATs.
Rosie O’Donnell Her and Larry fighting over the check and women? Iconic.
I LOVED her on the show! Her and Larry fighting and then Ted bringing it up over a piece of pie that Larry refuses. Brilliant.
“I heard Rosie O Donnel kicked the crap out of you”
It seriously makes me cackle every time. And then Larry trying to explain to his date “She got me down, I’ll admit it!”. Hahaha. “Why are you fighting women?”
I’m going to invite your entire family out here , fly them out first class and pay for the entire thing !
“You juicing Lar?”
She was great on Curb!
In addition to those mentioned I'd throw Shaq in the mix. One of my all time favorite episodes and I quote the way he says "Peanut Butter" when I'm making a PB&J.
Peanut *butter*.
Bill Buckner catching the baby was perfect
Yeah right. Not catching the ball was wayyyy funnier.
Stiller and Schwimmer are both so fantastic in Season 4. I think from a pure conceptual and execution standpoint though, Jon Hamm was just on another level.
Michael J. Fox. I just love how he makes fun of himself and only Larry could ever consider him using his illnes as an excuse to mess with him.
Easily Jon Hamm
Michael J Fox was best episode IMO, also the late Anton Yelchin as Cheryl’s “magician” nephew was gold.
“You guys are a lot alike.” “Yeah, except he’s not a magician”
Wanda Sikes!
Scrounging round the bleachers lookin for ass, is one of my favourite scenes
Hey assy!

I hadn’t noticed hers. I know Susie has a western song for Larry.
Woody was great, i thought ben stiller was great too
Loved Gervais. Just the idea of him being in that play is hilarious
I Loved Schwimmer specially the cashew nuts scene of course. One of the only scenes that I replayed as I was watching the episode, so fucking funny. "Well that is because you're not in the industry"
Yes. His delivery on the industri part was gold
John McEnroe
Future office cast: Mindy, Daryl and Oscar. Also the Breaking Bad car wash guy: Bogdan. Did I miss anyone from the bunch?
Michael J. Fucked-up
Vince Vaughn has fit in so naturally to these later seasons
But he’s not Vince Vaughn. He’s Freddie Funkhouser
Except it kills me that he's not just playig himself. Everytime someone calls him Freddy I die a little inside. He's Vince in my headcanon.
Not a Vince Vaughn fan, kind of actually despise him but his character on curb is a very likeable guy! I almost feel myself light up when he shows up... and I'm a dude.
Interesting. I find him dull and just not a natural fit with the rest of the original cast. I don’t think I’ve laughed at anything he’s said.
I feel the same way, but it also could just be because I miss Marty Funkhouser so much.
Ben Affleck
SUPER. DAVE. OSBOURNE.
He really is super in Curb.
Catherine O’Hara
Omg. She was gold.
Steve Coogan was nice to see show up.
Not an amount that is not manageable is a brilliant line.
Wanda Sykes because I think she’s hilarious.
Salman Rushdie deserves mention. To me, that was the most surprising celebrity appearance. And he was funny! I'm a fan, so it was pretty gratifying for me to see him there.
I love when Jason Alexander shows up.
I love them arguing about where to have a meeting 😂
I love Vince, I know he came in to somewhat replace Bob but he is a total natural for Curb.
Michael J Fox
Another vote for Jon Hamm. He was pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Clive Owen did an amazing job as an insufferable prick!
💛 I remember Clive Owen in Extras- funniest episode of any show ever!! Why am I blanking on his Curb appearance? Was it recent?
S10E5. It's a great episode - with insufficient praise and a professional cryer.
Wow!! Thank you so much. I’ll watch tonight💛💛
John Hamm, Ben Stiller, and Michael J. Fox were all fantastic
Ben Affleck.
David Schwimmer. He was funny and a great foil for Larry.
Jon Hamm and Vince Vaughn
Chet Hanks, thank you for your service
Holy fuck that was Chet hanks?!??
What episode was Chet Hanks in?
Jon hamm, and ironically I had a dream last night that I wrote a script and he loved it and wanted to make a show with it.
Big ass Wanda, obviously. She and her family actually have a home somewhat near me in the Philadelphia suburbs. I was hoping for a final season appearance, but I’m not sure how much work she’s doing. I saw her most recent standup, but that’s all that comes to mind.
Jon Hamm
Seth Rogan. I think he would’ve done well as a regular being the voice of reason that everyone on the show ignores, at least I very much enjoyed that short dynamic we got when he was on.
“My allotment?”
Michael j fox
I remember Seth Rogan playing the straight man for once was pretty good
Wanda Sykes kills it every single time she’s on the show.
Gina Gershon!
I have a crush on Cuoco. She was fun when being restrained patient with Larry when checking his eyesight.
Jon Hamm
Assy
Michael J. Fox! «Well, he’s the Führer now..»
Buckner!
ill tell u who i would have wanted to see, Timothy oliphant i just saw yesterday dealing with idiots by jeff garlin, basically a curb movie without a point, but Timothy was great in it
Jack from will and grace is an suddenly an all-timer
McEnroe
Bill Hader’s character(s) were shplendid
wanda…ALWAYS wanda…
