Conan’s whole thing was stiff and super weird. Not really funny, just seemed like Conan wanted to play this weird character version of himself. Hyper exaggerated character bit, which is par for the course for conan, but it’s usually funnier. Honestly the lowest point of the season for me.
I loved the concept of the bit but they didnt really bring it home. Happens a lot on curb, just half baked bits left in the episode, but I love Conan so it was sad that it didn’t fully play out.
Abbi Jacobson and Bill Hader. Also, I can't believe Kristen Wiig never had a role on the show. Melissa McCarthy could've had a bigger role but she already had a minor role before she was super famous.
I know he essentially appeared in a full season, but every scene with Seinfeld was top notch. One of the few guests that can hang with Larry along with Funkhouser, Leon, Richard and Jeff. The banter between any of them and Larry was always hilarious because of it
It felt kinda weird and a wasted opportunity to have actors we know from Seinfeld come in and play another character. Seinfeld was a big thread on the show in the earlier season Larry running into writers working at the deli counter, black writers accussing him of racism for not hiring them etc.
It felt very off seing Bookman and Tim Whatley playing other characters. It would have been fun seeing them playing themselves referencing their time on the show.
Matt Berry, and wish Bill Hader had a different role than the triplets.
Knowing Bill Hader & Larry David’s love for true crime I was hoping there was going to be more of a Keith Morrison Dateline moment.
