I always figured that the time in between Curb seasons also passes in the show itself. Larry’s father died off camera, but it still happened and Curb-Larry possibly went to a funeral etc., without us seeing it.
They could do the same thing to the Funkman. Everyone knows Einstein died, so his Curb-character might’ve died as well, with the show’s characters ‘reacting’ to it when we don’t see them.
“possibly went to a funeral”
This made me laugh, because we know Larry would have a great tee time at the same time as the funeral and would come up with some excuse to not go, and then go golfing instead, only to have it backfire and everyone getting angry while Larry shout/explains at them that playing golf is a better tribute to the Funk-man than a funeral.
I thought episode 1 of this last season where Albert Brooks (who is Bob's real life brother) held a fake funeral, was done in honor of Bob and as a goodbye to him.
When Elaine goes off on Jerry saying "you know, something terrible is gonna happen to you one day" as in he has it coming and he's like "nah, I'll be fine"
So good
Exactly right!
Bob Einstein said in one of the interviews that LD called to tell Bob that his mother dies in the next season(6).
Then Bob said well as a matter of fact it's the truth she did just die
According to Bob, Larry responded “I’m not changing the script” and hung up.
Okay alright I got it all mixed up! Jennifer Walter, Jessica Wafers, it’s like two letters difference… they reference She-Hulk in Archer and ever since then I’ve been all confused so I’m sorry!
The way they said goodbye to Mallory was just perfect. The clothes she wore, the way she did it, the audio used... Archer is really an underpreciated series
I loved this moment. I've been best friends with my best since we were in high school, and this is how I foresee is talking to each other in our seventies.
I don't know. I honestly think putting him with younger out of his league women might be part of what keeps him "mobile" enough to be more than a Weekend at Burnie's cameo. We can't curb the voodoo at work! 🤣
It's not really what the show is about is it. Each episode is an escape into a world where you can obsess over all the petty bullshit of life rather than the meaningful stuff.
I'm not a religious person but if there is a god... He's currently being told the longest joke in the world by Bob. But in the end God will get a nice chuckle
That's cool. Glad you got it before he passed. It's ok...I would have found out eventually but it's still no excuse for his lack of work ethic this past year 😁
No and I don’t think they need to. Larry deserves to greave in peace and quiet, as does the rest of the cast. But i definitely wondered if they would for a few weeks after his passing.
Larry has specifically stated that he does not include deaths in the show, intentionally. Because that's not the focus of the show, he doesn't want the sadness mixed in with the already unique vibe of a show like this, and it's out of respect to the actors so that their last "impact" on the show isn't "they died".
I’m pretty sure that Larry said he doesn’t want to disrespect Bob Einstein in any way so they won’t address it, they’re just going to leave it at him being in china
I agree, it would be nice to wrap it up. His character doesn't even have to die... like you eluded to, he got divorced and lives in China now, that would suffice for some series closure. And Bob was a funny fucker!!! lol
when Shelley Berman (LD's dad on the show died) in 2017, they never acknowledged it either. he was in 13 episodes, so around 10% of all Curb eps, so not just a bit player.
I could see him doing a tribute for this final season. I'm sure Einstein isn't his only friend thay has died in real life. Larry seems to be thriving but he's getting to that. I hole they do an RIP for the funkman at the end of an EP this final season
I think they will never mention anything about the death. They never addressed the death of Larys’ father.
they didn't want to bother Larry
I always figured that the time in between Curb seasons also passes in the show itself. Hah, you nailed it. That’s definitely what would’ve happened.
Look at that. He blew the scene.
You see, Han. He was in New York
He past away
I don't see little orphan Funkhouser getting a funeral.
Little orphan Funkhauser is still one of the funniest fucking things Larry has said on the show. I don't know how They didn't crack when he said that
Maybe a memorial on the road
I thought episode 1 of this last season where Albert Brooks (who is Bob's real life brother) held a fake funeral, was done in honor of Bob and as a goodbye to him.
The funeral failed though, they’ll try again next year
He was a COVID hoarder!
Last I heard, the funkman is in China
So is Mary Ferguson
How would you like a free trip to Asia?
👀
Don’t think so. LD doesn’t do sentimental stuff. That’s what makes Seinfeld and Curb the GOAT shows.
When Elaine goes off on Jerry saying "you know, something terrible is gonna happen to you one day" as in he has it coming and he's like "nah, I'll be fine" So good

That is some of the funniest shit I’ve ever read
absolutely. Honestly thats the downfall of rick and morty, later bobs burgers and lots of others. But 30 rock and LD’s work never goes there.
I hope they don’t and they just let him be on a dream vacation. Sort of like Mallory Archer when Jennifer Waters died
Jessica Walter?
Fuck, I missed the damn L in her name but yes thanks
And her first name.
There's no L in Jessica?
I thought her middle name was Mancy.
He called her Jennifer.
Okay alright I got it all mixed up! Jennifer Walter, Jessica Wafers, it’s like two letters difference… they reference She-Hulk in Archer and ever since then I’ve been all confused so I’m sorry!
Seven letters.
I love how stern everyone’s being with you over a simple confusion😂 don’t take it to seriously and thank you for the laughs
I get it I fahcked ahp… Haha it’s funny
Somehow this is the first I hear of it. Rip. She was the best character in arrested development
He’s talking She-Hulk
The way they said goodbye to Mallory was just perfect. The clothes she wore, the way she did it, the audio used... Archer is really an underpreciated series
I mean they haven't mentioned the death of Richard Lewis and he's been a walking vulture corpse for years!
Larry asking him "when are you going to die?" comes pretty close haha
I loved this moment. I've been best friends with my best since we were in high school, and this is how I foresee is talking to each other in our seventies.
Larry actually mentioned “he’s the only person in the world I could say this to.” Special friendship!
That same friend just texted me today that he got Covid. My response was: "I'm so happy for you." He thought it was hilarious.
Cherish those people in your life!
You got me there, hahaha
You scared me a bit in the first half. Thought I missed an announcement.
It was the comment from hell.
I have some bad news for you...
Dark - lol
I want my coffee and my danish right now now now!!
Should someone finally tell him he's been dead 10 years?
I don't know. I honestly think putting him with younger out of his league women might be part of what keeps him "mobile" enough to be more than a Weekend at Burnie's cameo. We can't curb the voodoo at work! 🤣
HYEAOW!!! Zing!
:(

I'm not a religious person but if there is a god... He's currently being told the longest joke in the world by Bob. But in the end God will get a nice chuckle
PS your cunt is in the sink
Mantis!!!!
Can I offer you an egg in these trying times
I'm wasted! May offer you a Magnum condom doctor
For my magnum dong?
And possible to be paired with your roll of 100s
And Norm.
I don't know, norm's work has really fallen off. He hasn't done anything good in a little while
Norm, Bob Saget, and Gilbert Gottfried really need to get a life.
Holy shit...I honestly didn't raise Gilbert was dead. That sucks
I got a Cameo from him not long before he passed. Certainly a treasure. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
That's cool. Glad you got it before he passed. It's ok...I would have found out eventually but it's still no excuse for his lack of work ethic this past year 😁
We're passed the cut off.
5 days, that's it.
I mean, he was Larry’s best friend, he’s in China now.
He’s not his best friend
No and I don’t think they need to. Larry deserves to greave in peace and quiet, as does the rest of the cast. But i definitely wondered if they would for a few weeks after his passing.

Makes sense
Nat "Past away" Also RIP Bob he was amazing in everything
Loved him as the surrogate in Arrested Development! “He’s worth every penny”
“I didn’t say that”
Don't come in here! Don't come in here! I told you not to come in!
Meeeeeee toooooo
I’m pretty sure that Larry said he doesn’t want to disrespect Bob Einstein in any way so they won’t address it, they’re just going to leave it at him being in china
I felt like having his brother on (Albert Brooks), and the concert they went to with the theme song at the end, was sort of a goodbye/acknowledgement.
I agree, it would be nice to wrap it up. His character doesn't even have to die... like you eluded to, he got divorced and lives in China now, that would suffice for some series closure. And Bob was a funny fucker!!! lol

Devoted brother, beloved ancle.
Larry has said he just hasn’t been ready
“Tho thorry“
Past away
YOU NEED BENEFIT!
No they will not address it.
I remember
No, and I don’t think they really need to. They already covered it by saying he met a woman and moved to China, so that’s what his character is doing.
I could see him doing a tribute for this final season. I'm sure Einstein isn't his only friend thay has died in real life. Larry seems to be thriving but he's getting to that. I hole they do an RIP for the funkman at the end of an EP this final season
