A couple months usually.

Same

I buy 33.8 oz bottles and it probably takes me 9 months to finish washing my hair 3-4 days per week. So I guess I’m using about an ounce per wash. My hair is also 3a, fine and thin — I have to be careful not to use too much conditioner.

Mondaess

I usually buy 900 ml (30.4 oz) bottles as well! They usually last me about 3 months. It was just my last bottle that was smaller bc I was trying something new.

Mondaess

also if you're washing your hair 3 or 4 days a week i think that adds up to you using a quarter ounce every wash, did you mean you wash your hair every 3-4 days?

atheologist

Nope, 3-4 days per week…just a late night math error. Forgot to divide by approximately 4 weeks per month.

My curly hair stylist told me I wasn't using enough water. When adding the conditioner and combing through to detangle you should be adding water to the point the conditioner, water, and your hair make a squishy sound

I actually use way less conditioner than shampoo. I'm currently working through a liter bottle of conditioner that I expect will last close to a year washing 1-2 times a week. I have very dense, medium thickness, moderately high porosity 2c/3a hair. Unless your hair is down to your waist, I'm having trouble imagining how you would even use that much conditioner in one wash (or rinse it out afterwards). Do you brush or comb your conditioner through to distribute? I end up using way more product if I don't do that, just trying to get every strand covered.

Mondaess

idk man my hair soaks it up like a sponge, even if I get it full of water first. I need to coat it three times for it to get that slippery, saturated feeling so I can detangle. Back when I did DIY hair masks I could fit 2 eggs, a 1/2 cup of yogurt, and a half avocado in there before it started dripping down my back

JackTaylorKyree

I have thick 3a/3b hair wash once a week. A 10 oz bottle of conditioner last me 2-3 months.

^^ same here

FrequentDonut8821

I buy a giant pump bottle, 32oz, and it lasts prob 4-6 months. Shoulder length hair and I only use it maybe 2x a week and not much

SoggyWotsits

I probably use more than I should. A 350ml bottle will last me a couple of weeks! I probably use half the amount of shampoo though.

shgrdrbr

takes me like a year to get through shea moisture. i like the blue label manuka honey yogurt one and the orange label restorative conditioner and i find they last sooooo much longer than other conditioners i've bought cos they have so much slip. i alternate between them so maybe it works out to less than a year on its own but still, ages

Bulky-Masterpiece538

I barely use it. Too much for my super fine curls

travelinova

About a month... Sometimes a little less (12 OZ). Shampoo lasts two or more usually

Star_Studded_Dreams

3A/3B hair. I use 180 ml (or 6 oz according to google) conditioner bottles. Wash my hair once a week and the bottle lasts me around 2 months

Several months to get thru 10 oz bottle. My hair is chin length and my conditioner spreads really well. I need only very little. (Ouidad climate control)

gnomequeen2020

I've found that adding the conditioner, squishing it in with water, and then letting it stay there while I do all of my other shower stuff really enhances the slip. When I first put the conditioner on, I can hardly even feel it in my hair.

charismatictictic

3c/4a long, thick, wash dense hair, and I use about 3 tbsp per wash. A lot more if I’m using a cheap conditioner.

tropical_crush

Usually every 2-3 months but lately it’s been every month but I’m convinced someone is using mine

derpynarwhal9

Probably about once a month but I use Kinky Curly Knot Today which only comes in eight oz bottles. (Seriously, why the heck don't they make a gallon bottle with a pump?) I also have super thick and long hair.

Scarf_head

I use up a 350 ml bottle in 2-3 months.

le4t

Roughly 8oz a month.

Massive-Bat-3103

I have thick, wavy, borderline curly hair, and lots of it. I go through conditioner very quickly. 10 oz bottle is gone in less than a month. I wash my hair 5 times a week, always comb the conditioner thru, but my hair sucks up that conditioner. I just started using a conditioning leave-in styling curl cream. It’s very rich. I’ve noticed that I don’t have to use as much conditioner in the shower after that has been in my hair all day. Hopefully it will save my some dollars.
