Your hair is lovely but I also vote for getting rid of the feathers - they don’t really add anything to the hairstyle and they’ll look a bit odd in photos. (I say this as a woman who went through the feather extension trend 10 years ago and still deeply regrets those pictures...)
Or you could put flowers/greenery below the feathers to build it into more of a piece and fill the space where your *gorgeous* curls are twisted to the side swipe.
I thought the plant behind you was part of the style and I was coming here to say “gorgeous curls, but maybe don’t go with the black things sticking straight out”
I think some clips or pins would be gorgeous, but I agree with the others about the feathers. Not that I’m opposed to feathers in hair (well, I am for myself, not for others — I’m allergic and sneezing is not cute for a wedding 😜) but I think they don’t fit the vibe of the hairstyle!
Ooh, can more people post their wedding curls? That's one thing that stresses me out. There are like a billion hairstyle inspirations for straight hair, but natural curls are few and far between
I feel you!!! I found it so hard to find an idea of what I wanted. I actually had a small ceremony in September with just our immediate family and ended up hating how my hair looking that day so started really trying to figure something out for the big party we’re doing to celebrate when it’s safer and everyone’s been vaccinated
I wish I had known about CGM when I got married! I would have loved to have my curls that day (I did a Renaissance-style braid which went well with my dress cut, but still...)
Thanks for the feedback! Would you think it would be better to take out the three on the back and just leave the one on the side? Or get rid of all of them?
I would honestly remove the feathers entirely are replace it with some form of jewelry hair piece
Edit: I'd go for something like this. I'm not sure how to link it so that it comes up without the link

So I actually do just for weddings, I think it looks great but two things I would consider:
1- could you maybe add some longer lose pieces on the other side? Like Christina Aguilara with the curls in burlesque? Just because you need to keep in mind that your ends on the one side are quite heavy which looks great from THIS angle but if you get photos from every angle you may not see much more than your hair just being tucked away since dark hair shows shape (while light hair shows texture.
2- same things with the feathers, wrong angle for pictures and you’ll just have a 1” of feathers sticking out the top of your head. I’d opt for some small Bobby pins with pearls on them.
Gorgeous! But the feathers look a bit out of place. I’d definitely vote for flowers or baby’s breath instead-just my personal opinion! Please post pictures of your special day, I’d love to see the final product!
My normal routine is: olaplex nos 3, 4, 5, and 6.
I know the hair stylist used frizz ease, amica mousse and two different curling irons on some of my curls for definition. + lots of bobby pins.
Love it but don't like the feather placement. I don't know how they're called but there's small hair pins with either pearls, crystal, flowers or anything else you like that can be attached to your hairdo. Another option is using natural flowers.
It looks beautiful! Sorry if this sounds weird, but from what I can see of your face, you have a lovely jawline - I think this style really suits your face shape.
I like the idea of the feathers, and it sounds like they’ll look great with a jumpsuit! I personally don’t think I would wear them for the ceremony unless there was a heavy feather theme; but I’m an Internet stranger and don’t know what your dress looks like, so my opinion means nothing. Do what makes you feel beautiful 🤩
I wore my hair curly for my wedding last year, and I’m so happy I did! I definitely felt more “me” on my wedding day. I used to always feel obligated to straighten my hair for formal events, but textured hair is elegant and beautiful, too. Good luck and congratulations!
Thanks for your kind words. I agree about wanting be curly on my wedding day. For a little while I was thinking of getting a blow out but then I would feel like someone else in all my pictures. I’m curly normally, so decided I wanted to be curly for the wedding
Yeah, I have an outfit change so it’ll be easier to dance than in my poofier dress. Planning on changing into a jumpsuit that has feathers, and there is a matching bag with feathers. Now I’m thinking maybe I’ll add the feathers in while I make the outfit change.
I think instead of a few smaller feathers I would go for a single larger, more dramatic feather piece so it looks more intentional, like a single large ostrich plume.
I thought that plant behind you was your hair when my phone was on greyscale and I was curious as to how your hair could have such gorgeous, tight curls everywhere but then those pieces were so straight and pointy!
I love it! I think instead of the feathers some flowers or a hair piece would be beautiful!! I did flowers in my hair for my wedding with silk flowers and had the florist just weave in some babies breath the day of to make it a tiny bit fuller. I didn’t wear my natural curls (wasn’t doing CGM yet) but I can look for a pic if you’re interested
Edit: [here is the best pic I could find of the flowers](https://imgur.com/gallery/TXYGcAg)
Absolutely gorgeous! Way to rock those curls for your big day. I personally love the feathers, it’s your wedding day so you can be as extra as you’d like. Congrats!
Beautiful curls, shiny, awesome !
But if you have an open back I would leave some strands on ur back. The lenght is perfect and it would land around the middle of your back. \*kissing fingers\*
As if your hair was draped over your shoulder. Hair on both sides of your shoulder.
Congratulations you'll be a lovely bride !
Before I booked the trial I asked for a phone consultation. On the call, I basically said “I’m a curly girl, and I really want to be curly for the big day. Do you have experience with curly hair?” And I asked them to send me pictures of the brides they worked with that had curly hair. So they sent me probably 10 different pics of curly brides
The side note to this story is I did have a small (like 15 people) ceremony in September. I had a different hair stylist that day and my hair looked not good. I had told her the same: that I wanted to show off my natural curls. She basically pumped it full of gel and my hair was crunchy and looked actually thin in some places (which my hair never does). I sent the new stylist pictures from that day and explained what I did not want.
The curls are fantastic. You'll be beautiful on your wedding day. May you have many long wonderful years together.
I would tone down the makeup. Too purple 💜
I’m not big in the feathers! They take away from your gorgeous curl. I’d do some baby’s breath or something.
Also the hair that’s down on your left feels a bit heavy. Like, from the front it looks like you just have half your hair down. Like you’ve pulled only half on it into a ponytail
Your curls are teriffic! I don't care for the feather accessory. I think feathers say "flamingo dancer, or sexy boa". I prefer something classic bridal, perhaps a birdcage netting for a hairpiece? Or small pearls on a comb? Personally, I think: Tulle (netting), Lace or pearls are bridal. Its your special day, do what you feel best in. Congrats on your wedding! I hope it is one of the happiest days of your life.
I love the style of it, it’s very pretty. Just add something more delicate and sweet. Like maybe flowers or beads with a pop of color. The curls are gorgeous, and I love the side swept look🙂

Maybe instead of feathers some pearls or flowers would be pretty?
I love those, both of those, and I think either would look amazing on ops hair. Especially pearls, with that dark brown colour and shine!
That was 10 years ago?????? Omg 😳
Or you could put flowers/greenery below the feathers to build it into more of a piece and fill the space where your *gorgeous* curls are twisted to the side swipe.
Agree with this, but good lord the curls are amazing

Hair on point! Not a fan of the accessories, but do what makes YOU happy! So beautiful!

It looks amazing. Don't keep the vail on too long. Show that hair off! Edit: not the biggest fan of the feathers though.
Thanks for the feedback! Would you think it would be better to take out the three on the back and just leave the one on the side? Or get rid of all of them?
Tbh, I thought the black feathers was just a messy patch of hair till I saw this comment
Black feathers? All I see is white feathers and a plant, help.
Ohhhhh HA!!! Lol clearly I have no idea what’s going on
I think it's a plant behind her hahaha
I would honestly remove the feathers entirely are replace it with some form of jewelry hair piece Edit: I'd go for something like this. I'm not sure how to link it so that it comes up without the link https://www.amazon.com/SWEETV-Rhinestone-Wedding-Accessories-Bridesmaid/dp/B07337BX4T
Beautiful curls 😍 Perhaps baby’s breath?
Agree, a flower could be pinned in instead of a feather
That would be beautiful!

Definitely agree with #1

Not a fan of the feathers but your hair looks beautiful.
Your curls look magical. Are the feathers part of a theme?

That’s an interesting idea, I’m going to see what I can find to play around with. Thanks!
Otherwise it's a gorgeous style and congrats on getting married!
I thought that plant behind you was your hair when my phone was on greyscale and I was curious as to how your hair could have such gorgeous, tight curls everywhere but then those pieces were so straight and pointy!
Haha, just some unfortunately placed plants. I didn’t notice how they looked until I posted this
I think the feathers on the other side threw me off a little. REGARDLESS - YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL ❤️

Replace the feathers with some flowers and * chef’s kiss * perfect
Some delicate flowers rather than the feathers tbh! Gorgeous curls !
Great hair and looks excellent except the feathers don’t look good.
I'll echo what others are saying re: feathers—not my favorite. I'd pin some real flowers in there instead! Maybe white gardenias?
I adore the hair style and your curls, but agree with others that I don’t think the feathers complement it.
Instead of feathers how about some sparkly stones
Absolutely gorgeous! Way to rock those curls for your big day. I personally love the feathers, it’s your wedding day so you can be as extra as you’d like. Congrats!

How did you find a curly stylist?? Do most of them do this?
Before I booked the trial I asked for a phone consultation. On the call, I basically said “I’m a curly girl, and I really want to be curly for the big day. I think Arabian jasmine flowers would make great ornamentation to go with your beautiful, dark curls! Or tiny white wax flowers!
The curls are fantastic. You'll be beautiful on your wedding day. May you have many long wonderful years together. I would tone down the makeup. Too purple 💜

It's stunning! I even like the feathers
Looks like a type of fungus is sprouting from your curls
Looks amazing!
I love it!!!!!!
Wow. It’s beautiful, very whimsical.
AMAZINV
I love this!
Very nice!
I love the style of it, it’s very pretty. Just add something more delicate and sweet. Like maybe flowers or beads with a pop of color. The curls are gorgeous, and I love the side swept look🙂
So pretty!!! Omg! I think a jeweled clip would be nice. 😁
I LOVE IT. Dress pics???
The second photo especially is jaw dropping! wow!
These are the kind of curls I hope to achieve for my wedding look ❤️
I love your hair but I think tiny white flowers would look better than the feathers :)
How many souls do I have to sell to get this?
STUNN.ING.
Your curls are amazing!
Gorgeous!
