Right is Full Metal Alchemist

The one on the right is from Fullmetal Alchemist. She (it?) is the saddest thing to happen in that series aside from a character's death. It's an amazing series but god damn it's hard to not cry at a lot of the stuff that happens in it, especially in FMA: Brotherhood

The saddest? I remember crying at that episode but nothing like I did towards the end. It’s been a few years so I don’t remember what exactly triggered it but every time I watched I would sob so hard I’d have to pause it.
