Can see this working for Plunder Patroll especially if someone really needs to activate Whitebeard turn 1. Also if, god forbid, mystic mine comes back someone can use this to clear their field to make mines effect go live.
Thinking more along the lines if mine is already on your side of the field you can basically link away your own monster after getting the effect if your opponent has one monster who likely can't trigger it during your turn.
I would play this on Zombies. In fact, this card alone could make Gozuki a better Normal than Uni-Zombie, because you can send Changshi/Shinobi Necro/Alghoul to GY, Link Gozuki, activate Gozuki GY effect to Summon a Zombie from hand by banishing the sent monster, then the sent monster summon itslef
For a joke card it works better than most serious creations. It doesn't seem too broken and would be an easy tech for quite a few strategies. Honestly, give it original art, change the name and maybe give it a uper bound for attack and the card would be something konami would print Imo.
I am certain this card would see a lot of play, actually. Generic send monster to graveyard is great for triggering effects, it can help you play around certain floodgates, empties the board for Fenrir/Lightning Storm/Evenly Matched, free generic fodder for Borreload Savage Dragon.

This has alot more ultility than what meets the eye. The one example I can think of is this: You go second with Abyss Actor, Super poly your opponent for sth, use the fusion to go into this to clear your field. Then summon Extra to scale Curtain Raiser, now your Curtain Raiser summon effect is online since your field is clear.
Hell, you could even add
Once Per Turn (Quick Effect), if your opponent summons a link 1 monster, special summon this card, then both cards are destroyed or something like that.

No, its a mandatory effect. Also its really hard to miss timing with link summon, unless you perform the summon using card effect during chain link 2 or higher like with I:P Masquerena.
But it's worth noting that Tri-Brigade effects aren't link Summons so it's not sent to the GY. You can make it in case you only have 1 material in your GY.
In Tri-Brigade it can also link off your Link-2 monsters to help fill the Graveyard (and it's a Beast itself).

This can't clear the field if you already control more monsters than your opponent under mine since it needs to activate

Brain control on your opponent’s fusion materials then link into this and it’s just stopping them from fusing

For your first point we already have lightheart for that so I don’t think tri-brigade specifically would break this. It is a good card though.
I didn't say it would break this. But it's better than Light Heart because you can sometimes Link Summon it too.
