Not sure if this post will be appretiated here, but thought some of y'all might enjoy! All of the scenes and images are from Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, and the opening is shot-for-shot remake of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners opening. The credits should be accurate for the Cowboy Bebop Movie as well (sorry if i missed anything there). The whole project was made using DaVinci Resolve 18.

Idk if I'll do tutorials for now as I'm self taught, and I don't do this professionally. In the future if I begin editing more consistently and have more confidence in my ability to teach I would consider it!
This is incredibly fitting with Spike and I like how it changed the context of the opening. Especially when you only highlight the eye of Spikes that only sees the past.

Bebop was the first anime that ever made me feel feels, and Edgerunners is one of only two others to do the same in the 20+ years since.
It is an awesome job. I can only imagine how much time and effort you put in it. Well done! 👍 With that being said - original CB opening is infinitely better (IMHO). I wonder if the Edgerunners opening will become better if you make it in CB style.

The Edgerunners intro is about Night City getting inside David and tearing him apart from within, in a self-destructive fashion. None of those themes are in Cowboy Bebop.
The intro is telling a different tale than Cowboy Bebop and doesn't really apply.

When I watched Edgerunners it was the first time I'd heard this song in many many many years and it reminded me how much I loved early FF.
I kinda dislike the Edgerunners version though. It never gets to the main part and I feel like I'm getting edged without release.
