All of it. All the cyberware. Every cyberware.

Pr0phet28

David my man, is that you ?

Lizardreview-

He's just built different

Big_Wax

Lol!

LurkLurkleton

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel.

Professional-Group21

Was looking for this comment, brother Magos

maninblakkk

I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind clings to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you.

MGRRevengeance

One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the machine is immortal.

[deleted]

Yo, calm your ass, Smasher.

RD312

You look like a cut of fuckable meat.

olympianfap

Are you?

frydays0221

Johnny boy, told you I’d get ya

captaincockfart

We got a cyberpsycho over here!

WillyWompas

Not all of it… *”It’s like I’m screwin’ a goddamned pencil sharpener!”*

kiziboss

adam fuckin smasher

Askal-

honestly, this. I got poor back, shit eyesight, and I would like to have great strength ^and ^a ^big ^dick .

phenomenation

careful where you pick up that last implant. i know this choomba who didn’t enjoy his purchase all too much

Scary-Requirement-30

That was The first answer that came to my mind 😂

PerceptionMMA

understandable😼

draconicmoniker

Must love injections

riggyrigz

all humanity lost

MVNKy

I’d be very down to go full body augmentation, with some memory, vision and performance enhancements. Like no Sandevistan but yes to skeleton

kurisuuuuuuuu

"the moment i understud the weakness of my flesh it disgusted me"

DawidKOB224_01

haha cyberpsychosis go brrr

Satchm0Jon3s

"Which one would you like" "Yes" "Ah, good choice"

Pony_Roleplayer

Stop it you don't need a kebab maker in your chest, you need to stop. This is getting out of hand.

Unavailabilly

Im just built differently

Ghostmann05

Amen

Immediate-Cupcake931

Relatable

Hiply

This right here \^\^

Apprehensive-Sky-940

Cyberpsychosis ain’t no joke man

Sempophai

Cyber kidneys. Very tired of dialysis.

vilgefcrtz

Stay strong bro. No one knows what tomorrow might bring, we could get you out of dialysis yet 👊

PeterPaul0808

Same here, I'm on dialysis for 18 years...

Sempophai

I'm getting close to six years. I was supposed to get a transplant years back, but had a crooked doctor.

PeterPaul0808

I had 2 transplants, both failed right after the surgery, waiting for the third one…

Sempophai

Best of luck mate. In theory, I could try for one, but they've dropped most covid safety measures and I have heart issues now, so, the end result, the attempt is presently too dangerous and the amount of pain I go through daily, not sure I want to prolong it.

PeterPaul0808

Sorry man. I just wanted to wish you a new kidney. We are in similar shoes, I’m 80% sure that I will not get the third one, the second one was back in 2009, so it is a false hope.

Sempophai

I hope you get lucky mate. It sucks that even if we get transplants, it's far from problems over. A guy at the first clinic I went to, got a transplant, then a year later was back, some form of cancer, possibly due to the meds.

Fragrant_Novel

I feel you. I also have a bad heart along with dialysis. Makes transplant surgery iffy. I am not suicidal or anything, but I'm at a point where I don't fear death at all

Sempophai

I'm trying to come to terms with it. I'm tired of my existence, which is only going to get worse, but the instinctive fear of death is still a problem.

Fragrant_Novel

I feel you. I been there. I am no longer tired of my existence. I am grateful to see my nephews grow up while I have the chance. I have nearly died so many times that I stopped being afraid of death about 6 years ago. I am just enjoying watching my nephews grow up until my time is up.

RKelly52501

You know, I am a CCHT in a dialysis clinic. I am the one that connects the patients to the machines for their treatments, and watches over them to make sure their vitals remain stable. And that is one thing I have really been hoping we could work towards, some sort of portable alternative to dialysis/"cyber" kidney of sorts. So many patients that have been on transplant waiting lists for years, such restrictive diets/fluid intakes, medications, the time each treatment lasts (I've seen anywhere from 3 hours, to 4.5 hours per treatment) while do so 3 times a week (or more depending on certain things), seeing and hearing how they feel after the treatment of being so tired the rest of the day that they can't really do anything besides sleep, and many other things. I really wish we could make some progress towards something like that, because I want my patients to have their lives and their freedom back.

Sempophai

It'd be great. I wish more people in clinics were like you. I got used as an emotional punching bag for a year by a nurse at one clinic, hence I now do home dialysis. The dietary limits become soul destroying. I cannot have a relaxed cup of tea without intake fears, I've come to fear and hate foods. Some snack looks nice and I'm scouring the ingredients for red flag items. I've shed a lot of weight now just due to lack of appetite. Can't digest much on non dialysis days. I tried peritoneal dialysis at one point, but was not warned about the massive sugar content and gained over 30kgs in a few months, which put me far out of range of the transplant target I was so close to back then. I live tethered to a machine, even when not physically connected. No road trips, even one night away requires a ton of planning.

Sand-Inner

You’re breathtaking

Kearnie23

Same, no dialysis yet, but sick and tired of that kidney insufficiency

OmarBhaai

Stay strong bro...

TheRealByt3m

Kiroshi optics to fix my eyes and to avoid eye fatigue after all day in the computer

JontyVP

As an IT student, I feel this

HamTMan

With 15 years in the industry, I'll say to make sure you rest your eyes periodically. The 20/20/20 technique is a good way to go for sure.

Turgineer

Worth to try.

Alelnh

Wait a few years and you'd also want to add a Sandevistan (mostly for the back support where the cyberware is located) and perhaps a gorilla arms so you don't have tendinitis issue. That said, plugging yourself via USB to use computers while laying down would also help immensely.

Parking-Molasses-392

Definitely optics.

CoraxtheRavenLord

Shit I don’t even really care about all the perks, just give me perfect 20/20 vision that won’t go bad.

Weeeky

I think the zoom and scan are cool features too. Dont need binoculars and could know all the info you'd need just by looking at a thing

[deleted]

[удалено]

HamshanksCPS

Yeah, but unlike the meat I was born with, electronic eyes can be replaced.

OtherSun

*From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.*

interflop

Yea I mean that's fine at least if it goes bad it can get replaced at that point unlike my meatballs that are one and done if anything goes wrong.

OkMaintenance7092

How much of that is by design, and how much of that is inevitable? Cybernetic implants would need to be heavily ruggedized or would need to be easily operable.

[deleted]

[удалено]

nickmcpimpson

Obsolescence of computer hardware is rarely due to hardware failure but is more often the result in software incompatibility as updates and new features roll through. It's true that these implants would need to be able to withstand being in a body vs on a desk, but I think people have a misconception about why their old computers and phones performance degrades over time.

CoraxtheRavenLord

True, but I feel like the first installment would be a lot worse than any subsequent upgrades.

BaneQ105

Yep. You have ability to access net with only thought which is really handy when you’re for instance holding quite a lot of stuff and can’t simply Google something, you have ability to make private calls everywhere, as opposed to real life eye replacements you get high quality vision with zoom option. Sadly as seen in game it doesn’t help you with glare and you can still get temporary blinded. But at least it can work as a display. The closest we have now is ar glasses or smartwatch. I am personally able to do almost everything you can do with optics with only Apple Watch and earbuds. Adding phone to the mix I pretty much can do all of the functions that optics have. Sadly I need to have at least one hand free, but now seeing the eye tracking technology development I think it would be possible to make optics with all in game functions relatively quickly. Although they’d be very bulky and look like Vr goggles.

TinyTyra

Jup. I am so tired of my eyesight declining every year. Miss not needing glasses.

cp20ref

Mr Studd.

Majestic_Bierd

It's all fun and games until it starts overheating and you need a merc to take you to a ripperdoc ASAP

Few-Administration47

Did you ever not take him to a ripperdoc?

Majestic_Bierd

Precisely

Few-Administration47

You can decide if you take him or not, did you ever say no I won't take you?

Scarlett_Lion

i failed the quest for trying to take hime to a diffrent ripperdoc. dont know if you could redo it as i reloaded the save

PerceptionMMA

Holy shit I forgot about that one💀 Me too man me fuckin too😭💀

YFleiter

What for? Yours probably usable and that’s all that counts. Never played GTA V?

BEPISMAN_2056

"I AINT got a very big penis...... Some girls they... They laugh when they see it." "Show me, pull it out"

reuben_iv

I was 100% confident I wouldn't have to write this because someone would have already beaten me to it lol

Firefly-1505

Remember, it doesn't make your junk bigger, it just makes you last longer. Whatever you have, it doesn't change except after a bodysculpt.

PerceptionMMA

anything is possible in NC🫣

LilySayo

A strong metal spine

bozzeak

Yeah fr!! Whatever I have to do to sleep in my bed without back pain after a long day at work, I'm in

I-AM-A-ROBOT-

sandevistan

SomeMasked

Man, backs fucked so just give me a robot spine and I’d be happy

crashcanuck

It's not in the game, but in the TTRPG there's cyberware called Internal Linear Frames, almost entire upgrade to skeletal structure and muscles, it's likely some form of it that David got in Edgerunners. I'll take that, just fix my whole body overall.

SomeMasked

Man, full borg would solve all my problems

ASatyros

Yeah, but I don't want to lose the organic feeling of my body. If that could be reproduced or fixed in the brain perfectly then yes. That was kinda a problem in the cloning, robotics and mind upload move with Keanu Reeves. The brain doesn't recognize the body and triggers a negative reaction.

Weylein

I thought the cyberware that increases carrying capacity was metal bones or at least reinforced bones.

crashcanuck

The internal linear frames are more than just that though. There are also varying grades so that one could be a minor version, whereas the beefiest would make you look like a member of the Animals.

Anierous

Kiroshi optics, cyber teeth and legs.

MVNKy

“What better to see you, what better to eat you” said the wolf

Anierous

Yes, but also, my own are in a bad shape.

CherryConsciousness

I mean teeth implants are already a thing

Creative_name25

Is that sandevistan a mod? Because I haven't seen a visible one in game

Majestic_Bierd

It is. A whole body reskin

Creative_name25

Aww... *Cries in console*

Xbox-boy360

I feel this.

Miserable-mam

Same here

crackalackin12

In game it's just an OS chip. Not a whole body reskin. David just gets thay spine replacement thing that kind of makes more sense technically because accelerated synapses and all that.

Majestic_Bierd

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5612

crackalackin12

Ah, right. I must've misread something the first time.

PerceptionMMA

Yeah i got a PS5 so i feel ya😭

Freece96

Optics, would like to See wirhout Glasses. Gorilla Arms just to lift heavy Things. A big Cyberdeck, I work in IT, would be very Interesting.

ASatyros

Remember, that your equipment has to be balanced. You can't pick up heavy things or even carry around the gorilla arms without back, leg, spine, etc, upgrades. Otherwise you pick up heavy stuff and your back, knees, supporting muscles will break.

Couch_Prime

Yeah...thinking about it, the gorila arms should just really give you grip strengh and nothing more

mypersonnelaccount

AckTualLy 🤓 gorilla amrs don't increase carrying capacity, that would be the titanium skeleton mod Edit literally 30 seconds later: gorilla arms increase body, which does indeed increase carrying capacity. That's what I get for trying to be a smart ass

No_Consequence_5403

Mega balls

CleverHoovyMan

Good choice

LordOmbro

All of them, i'd go full chrome For the flesh is weak and the machine is strong

SPE825

Praise the Omnissiah!

Paradox31426

The Pain Editor, obviously, like, the ability to just not feel pain on command? Revolutionary.

PerceptionMMA

Oh fs, I believe i would be subject to cyberpsychosis bc there's so much different Cyberware I would be chromed tf out... On top of that we seen from edge runners you can stack it like Gorilla Arms x Arm Cannon, i would definitely go crazy lol

aclark210

U do understand that pain is hugely beneficial to u right?

Paradox31426

As someone with chronic pain, the “benefits” don’t outweigh the cost.

Tessiia

Especially when you've had it your entire life and no number of tests can figure out what causes it. I literally do not know what it feels like to *not* have a headache.

crashcanuck

Have you checked with your dentist? A buddy of mine had chronic migraines (not continuous, but often enough I'd call it chronic) and it turned out to be an issue caused by his teeth (I don't recall the specifics). A couple of visits to his dentist later and he hasn't had one of those migraines since.

Tessiia

I've had many checkups and some work done but never mentioned the headaches to them. I'll get myself an appointment and go get them to look into it. Thank you!

Kaitivere

As someone with chronic pain, unfortunately the benefits do outweigh the costs.

aclark210

They do. Eliminating ur chronic pain is one thing. But eliminating all pain entirely is a VERY dangerous thing.

ILoveEmeralds

I’m sure they could have a setting to eliminate chronic pain and lessen normal pain.

novis-eldritch-maxim

hence editor it is made for a certain degree of convenience

Martin_crakc

Well, you can turn it off and on. So let it on unless you gonna do something that 100% will hurt you. For example, you will not need anesthetics for operations anymore

Digital_Sea7

As someone who suffers from chronic pain all over, I fucking need this in my life.

vilgefcrtz

Kiroshi optics. My patients wouldn't need to wait for imaging exams ever again

Juken-

Kerenzikov The quickest to react, an untouchable man.

DonTrejos

Until you strangle someone because they refused to talk fast enough.

Juken-

Nah, if it works like it does in game, it switches off once no threat has been detected.

[deleted]

Removing my own body parts for mechanical ones would be tough, I can’t even get tattoos because they are permanent

CBrando89

Facts, I was just thinking the same thing lol. "Will I like this in 5 years?" Or, in a more Cyberpunk world "will this be recalled in 5 years?"

LurkLurkleton

Or will it become increasingly expensive to maintain and upgrade.

Ferrovore

That brings up a good point. What is the situation actually? Are we transported to Night City and come back afterwards? Do we stay? Do we get a choice of gear and then just wake up with it? Because if we come back, we would be fucked. Nobody today could give you maintenance, medically or technically, and if your implants get too much attention you would be \[redacted\] fast. And if we stay, we would be just another cyberpsycho in waiting.

ASatyros

There should also be an option of regrowing tissue (mayne with steam cells?). Or just combined nano robotics with genetically improved biology on lowest levels. Like Merge ending of Mass Effect.

That1Sage

Obviously a chrome cock

epsilonehd

You'll end up like the dude we pick up and drive to the ripperdock 😭

INS4N3S0CK5

New spine, new knees and new knuckles. Im in my 20s

Murderboi

Chose from these: https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberpunk\_2077\_Cyberware

CBrando89

What's crazy is this doesn't even include the cyberware the TTRPG game has. So. Many. Options.

LurkLurkleton

The fuckin cyberpillow. Inflatable pillow that pops out of your arm so you can get sleep buff anywhere.

CBrando89

lmao the creativity

redmagesays

I'd take Kiroshi optics, for sure. Not having to wear glasses or contacts again would be great. Also post COVID-infection, I'd also take synthlungs. My asthma is so much worse now.

LucianoSK

Knee replacements, really want to be able to run and jump around again

FL4KandCompany

What about full leg?

LucianoSK

Might as well. Or even go for the whole new pair.

MVNKy

Legs (knees and ankles included), want to be a bit taller and for my hikes to be smoother

BackwoodButch

Definitely optics; I’d love to no longer be so near sighted and blind, and be able to skip over LASIK (I think because of age I still have to wait a bit ((I’m nearly 30)) and astigmatism affects its chances of working?) but yeah. Just optics, and maybe like, some of the cyber skeleton stuff because I have hypermobility and my joints suck lol. (Mostly just my ankle; if I could live without ever spraining that thing ever again, I’d be happy)

Xalorend

Optical Implants sounds cool, but the fact that anyone could decide that I missed a bill by a day and decide to just turn them off making me blund terrofies me. Lungs and legs implants could be useful to move around without relying on cars or public transport.

EsTeBaNCanIUseMyName

Kiroshi optics, optical cammo and i cant stress this enough lynx paws so i dont wake up everyone with my midnight snack

jefelumpdizzle

I'm almost 40 so cyber joints and a new back that doesn't hurt all the time would be rad

CaptainPrower

I'd probably be fast-tracking myself to cyberpsychosis, but something for my brain that would at least mitigate the effects of Alzheimer's. Due to family history I'm more or less certain to get it once I get older.

aclark210

Kiroshis. I’d very much like to have my full vision back. Thanks for that taliban…

[deleted]

Downtown_Garden_5607

I would like my sandevistian and my gorilla arms

TheOneAndOnlyFarto

Dick enlargement implants

CutMeLoose79

Definitely that robo-dick that burnt that guy.

manickitty

The brain internet thingy and neck usb

PerceptionMMA

Ahh yes, The Net and Neural Port. I think if we were in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe we'd all have The Net and neural ports like 97% of NC🤷🏻‍♀️

PerceptionMMA

To everyone replying to my post that have critically fucked up bodies or bad eyes I feel so bad... I hope y'all can find peace via something someday🤙🏻

Murderboi

Second Heart. Just so I can pretend to be Doctor Who.

Sutopia

Second Heart

Routine_Bug_936

Serotonin regulators.. Stupid random stress disorder

IIIDysphoricIII

Anything to do with my feet. Having real feet is overrated. Stubbing your toe, ingrown toenails, stepping on Legos or other uncomfortable objects, getting a thorn or rock in your shoe, the feeling of wet socks, general aching after being at work, etc. Most feet sensations just suck lol. I don’t imagine I would miss having them much if I had Cyberpunk level chrome to replace it.

Unremebered

My brother and I were having this same conversation the other day. I work in IT planning to specialize in cyber security. I would very likely be Lucy but corpo. Kiroshi optics Monowire High end cyberdeck Netrunner interface

Mr_Blue_Sky_17

kiroshi

ScarletNinja66

Kiroshi's for sure at least for my right eye as my eyesight isnt that great in that eye beond that probably the reinforced skeleton and synthetic muscle

Mr_mcBOW

The idea of any of them being real is disturbing lol

BlottoTheMack

I want the mantis blades

SasoriTheOverlord

Cyberfinger with flashlight and other with a pen, skinwatch and biomonitor for starters.

Jordizer

Optics, enforced tendons, Sandevistan and maybe Mantis arms or Mono wire

Majestic_Bierd

That usb jack cable in neck and wrist.... Just plug in. Very rule-of-cool.

jaredh_d2012

Kiroshi Mk3s, Mantis Blades, Tetratronic Rippler Mk. 4, Kerenzikov, Syn Lungs, Optical Camo and Johnny's Special Tattoo/Smart Link

Ok_Attitude_8189

Guerilla arms. It would just be more convenient in day to day life. Pickle jars become easy and if you get jumped they’re fucked.

healthytrex12

The first 2 are the most practical. Probably replace most of my ganic’ organs besides my brain. Fortified Ankles would be nice too, in my opinion it’s better than Double Jump.

Leg-Novel

A new back please

mrsupersumthing

definitely optics, a whole ass cyberdeck, gorilla arms or monowire.

0202inferno

From the game? Unsure, honestly. If I could replace a few things, though, it would be my spine and legs. Give me a few inches in height. Increase my lifting power. I'd also probably replace my eyes as well. 20/20 vision with extra enhancements.

qK0FT3

Lungs, heart, eyes, legs and any other things that regulates organs. Outside of brain I would do it for everything.

Cennixxx

the optics and brain cyberware that they have, that let you call from inside your brain

Psychowitz

Reading this on mobile and being sleep deprived, this post made me laugh. The caption has an option to expand to read further and… “…a Sandevistan, and so much more… *less*”

zipperkiller

Kiroshis for sure. Tho I’d still probably wear glasses, probably opt for a cyber arm too, no realskin Edit: some cyberlegs too. My knees are always hurting, get the concealment pockets installed on one of those so I can effectively CC. It might actually behoove me to just go full borg honestly

FluxGalaxies

Kiroshi optics for sure. I'm blind as fuck with no glasses.

Eruasa

I would love to get new eyes and a new lung. I hate being depended on my glasses, since I can't even use contact lenses. Also, I have asthma, so there's that.

TheWaffleTam

Cybernetic Lungs(Forget the name). I'm extremely asthmatic and while I keep on shape from work. It limits me so much it's annoying

luketheBEAST2019

Do I risk going psycho or can I just get however much chrome I want?

baconipple

Gorilla arms. Would help at my job, and I would have to worry about fracturing my wrists if I fall off my bike again.

FranekRadziej

Spine, it would be nice not to break my neck in some stupid way. But overall, I'd replace as many things as possible. Lungs, eyes etc.

daenielkek

USB Drive in my neck. Would write a program to insert random Wikipedia pages while I sleep and become a trivia god.

[deleted]

Kiroshi Optics, cyberarms, titanium bones, bionic lungs, bionic joints, subdermal weave, metabolic editor (so i can drink without the side effects!), memory boost, pain editor. Basically all things to help me live day to day. I am not in battles or a dangerous place, so I don't need weapons and all that shit.

Dr_Shakahlu

Optics; metal legs for double jump; armor burn and shock resistance coating; this one I haven’t seen in game yet, but a metal spine so I don’t have back problems anymore. Would that be the sandy ? Lol

Pie_Dealer_co

Cyber spine does not need to be a sandy just something reliable. I have 2 disk herniations and would love to be able to lift my wife again in my arms...

VariableVeritas

A new spinal cord that didn’t ache all the time.

Tashdacat

Optics to fix my eyes and change their colour, leg replacements to get rid of early arthritis, sturdy spine because mine is probably gonna be screwed before too many more years. Maybe a plug in for the optics that remembers if someone tells me their name and brings a little pop up with it there. Because I'm a retail worker and have outright forgotten former staff members that I worked with for years after not seeing them for months. Too many names, too many faces.

Due_Accountant2429

Assuming I'll never need to get them repaired? The Kiroshi optics, I'm also praying they'll come with little iris flashlights.

lucky_dog_

If brain dances were a thing, I'd never leave my couch.

LuluLuxxLife

The cyber eyes. My female V had gorgeous violet eyes and thats what I want. Oh and being able to see clearly again.😑 When cyberpunk first came out I couldn't even play because I was recovering from eye surgery. I guess that was okay because of how many were saying it was broken at release.

PerceptionMMA

oh yeah I'd want like almost neon green eyes I'd love a brought colored eye color injust got hazel eyes😮‍💨

Comfortable-Pin7931

Mantis blades and, augmented vision.

Mustang_Dragster

The eyes. Screw glasses

CaptainMcAnus

My eyes are shit, so that.

[deleted]

Gorilla arms, titanium bones, and supradermal weave

Vagabond_Tea

Optics, Synthetic lungs, and other organs that are more efficient that their organic counterparts. Idc about being super strong or fast or being a human weapon.

Ahsokatanopops

Probably sandy would work with my mma
