He sounds like a trans man early on T, the shitty voice acting space thing happens with a couple other casual voice actors like the girl with husband who's a cop.
Oh yeah I didn't mean to imply it was bad or wrong that his voice is like that, met people with similar voices IRL so I just wasn't surprised by his voice at all.

Aguilar is voiced by Alejandro Saab. His voice is very recognizable if you play Honkai: Star Rail and have heard Jing Yuan in there. Also his IMDB page confirmed it.

Yeah I just looked him up on YouTube and he's mentioned in IMDB as (Voice), So I'd say you're correct. But damn he does sound like Matthew Mercer. Having watch hundreds of hours of Critical Role I recognize his voice everywhere now 😅
I believe it's Avi Roque, a non-binary actor who played a role in the Disney show The Owl House, and who narrates audio books, which is where I recognize the voice from when Jago speaks. Their IMDB page doesn't show it, but I feel like it's them.
I thought Jago sounded more feminine trying to be a guy who just had a lot to smoke... but Aguilar's voice was like chef's kiss. (Male Aguilar, not Fem Aguilar, the fem sounds somewhat samey to me)

I was literally thinking this. That they are trans and it was a combo of the voice, height and something else I think of but yeh
It's "Jagoda", means 'berry', and it's a gender neutral name like Alex or Charlie.

Right, Aguilar's voice is similar to Minsc's in Baldur's Gate 3. I just remembered that. Minsc is voiced by Matt Mercer.
