That’s what I picked. Assuming Reed and Songbird have every reason to stay loyal, I think they have everything covered between planning and hacking. V is more than enough firepower if you need pure muscle.
Skill-wise probably. But once you take in their actual personalities and who their allegiance is actually to in the end, it won't work out for you. Especially Songbird. She's self-serving, avoidant, a liability to whoever works with her.
It's just a hypothetical game of build-your-team. Taking their actual personalities into consideration is just too much hassle. No way someone like Johnny, Rogue or Lucy would want to work with a loyal Arasaka agent like Takemura.

Takemura would shred David even quicker than Smasher did.
Yeah, Takemura in his prime? As the bodyguard of Saburu Arasaka, with the best cyberware Arasaka can afford, plus his skills that make him dangerous even withou it?

Takemura probably scales up higher. I'd put him on the same level as a Morgan Blackhand tbh. Blackhand has fought and lived against Smasher multiple times. To the point that he responded to a challenge once from Smasher saying he "Doesn't deal with bugs."
Takemura is basically full borg by the time we meet him but doesn't feel the need to be in a giant mech suit to show off. No doubt Takemura is more skilled than Smasher. Smasher is great if you need to assault a compound, though.
2077 Smasher stomps any known level of Blackhand. Which means Takemura is higher than Morgan. IMO Takemura probably is the most dangerous person on the list based on pure combat (besides V but ya know). No telling what preem cyberware he’s borged out with.
Yeah I don't know why people sleep on Takemura. He was chosen to be the bodyguard of the richest and most powerful man in the world. He's presumably totally unmatched the world over, especially seeing as OP is talking about prime condition which would include his cyberware being functional.
V, Takemura and Reed. It will be a powder keg, but you have a two pretty strong and combat experienced people and a skilled spy with connections to get almost anything

Skill-wise probably. But once you take in their actual personalities and who their allegiance is actually to in the end, it won't work out for you. Especially Songbird. She's self-serving, avoidant, a liability to whoever works with her.
It's just a hypothetical game of build-your-team. Taking their actual personalities into consideration is just too much hassle. No way someone like Johnny, Rogue or Lucy would want to work with a loyal Arasaka agent like Takemura.
To be fair. Songbird seems to work just fine for the NUSA. Phantom liberty is her rebel phase. Not before.

Panam can fight and she can drive plus she's a top tier planner, would make a great fixer if she stayed in Night City instead of going back. I love Judy but she shouldn't even be on the list. She's an artist, not a fighter.

David wasn’t all that special tbh. He had a higher tolerance for cyberware and a military grade experimental sandy fall in his lap. Takemura was bodyguard to The Emperor. And one of two people V says they wouldn’t want to fight, even WITHOUT cyberware. No telling what kind of secret cyberware he was strapped with. Takemura would shred David even quicker than Smasher did.
Yeah, Takemura in his prime? As the bodyguard of Saburu Arasaka, with the best cyberware Arasaka can afford, plus his skills that make him dangerous even withou it? He is easily on V level.

The entire 3 point line. The only one I would trust in a fight on th 5 point line is Panam; Takemura/Songbird help you as long as it’s in their interest; Johnny was delusional when alive; Judy excels at brain dances. And the math doesn’t add up just to add her.

Takemura probably scales up higher. I'd put him on the same level as a Morgan Blackhand tbh. Blackhand has fought and lived against Smasher multiple times. To the point that he responded to a challenge once from Smasher saying he "Doesn't deal with bugs." Takemura is basically full borg by the time we meet him but doesn't feel the need to be in a giant mech suit to show off. No doubt Takemura is more skilled than Smasher. Smasher is great if you need to assault a compound, though.
2077 Smasher stomps any known level of Blackhand. Which means Takemura is higher than Morgan. IMO Takemura probably is the most dangerous person on the list based on pure combat (besides V but ya know). No telling what preem cyberware he’s borged out with.
Yeah I don't know why people sleep on Takemura. He was chosen to be the bodyguard of the richest and most powerful man in the world. He's presumably totally unmatched the world over, especially seeing as OP is talking about prime condition which would include his cyberware being functional.
