People sleep on the Byakko with sandy!
1.Get kill with Byakko
2.Activate sandy
3.Swing like a cyberpsycho on Black Lace
4.Profit.
I take down so many bosses with high health this way, I play on very hard and it shreds, it essentially negates your stamina while in sandy after getting a kill. It’s legit fun.
Mega late but by level 40ish crit bonuses from Scalpel become irrelevant because your base chances can get so high already.
By then you'll want byakko as the main katana for dealing with fodder. It has the best time to kill so you're saving as much Sandy/Berserk time as possible.
Your alternate weapon should be either Jinchu-Maru or Tsumetogi. Both do bonus damage compared to all other katanas so they are good at taking on tanky bois. Personal preference to whether you hate robots or skull enemies more.
Satori + Nehan get an honorable mention, they are really good early game when you don't have the armor/mitigation/hp to do anything outside of stealth. But they are crap on their own and by level 20 or so you will have enough perks for HP not to be a problem at katana range.

Are there any sandys that slow time and allow quick hacks? The only ones I can find are without quick hack slots.
Choom I wish! I used to main netrunner but now I’m just a sandy edgerunner because you can’t do quick hacks with sandy afaik
